When you have any kind of a business, Show Business or other wise it needs to be run professionally. Todays actors & writers need to learn their craft properly so they can sit down & a write story's that help give people insight and intelligent lessons on life while moving them emptionally while still entertaining them. And without grossing them out with all the graphic violence. That kind of writing requires talent. It takes zero talent to write a story about how a hooker took drugs and shot her boyfriend while her shirt was off. When todays writers and prducers are asked why they make such violent movies their stock answer is "It's what the public wants to watch" That answer is as bogus as their movies. If Hollywood writers had genuine ambition and wrote great stories without all the unneeded low life trash inserted into the film people would be happy to enjoy those films.

I wish more children watch the old westerns, what they watch on TV and games on there X Box are more damaging to our morals. Consider that they have no more moral standards that teach what is considered the place our men as they grew up in the age of cowboys. At least my Grand Father had wild horses he let the rodeo use them for the rodeos for Bronc riding my other Grand Father was a blacksmith.

Ummm yeah no. There are lots of video games that teach the value of having morals. and have you seen cartoons today all they do in every other episode is teach kids a lesson. Like for example a TV show call the amazing world of gumball. It's wacky and makes 0 sense sometimes. But still teaches things like life is what you make it and the meaning of life is to do whatever makes you happy. Or that trust is key and that if you tell one lie you have to tell more to keep so it's better to tell the truth. Don't just assume.

Been seeing a lot of old TV westerns in IFC and another channel like Tombstone territory, Bat Masterson and the original half hour Gunsmoke. This one is not on any channels I get and I have to say it looks like one of the better productions. ZIV Productions was the major independent producer of 1950's and early 60's programs and worked on a smaller budget than this Revue series. Revue was owned by NBC and produced shows on the old Universal sets. ZIV produced such shows as Highway Patrol, Sea Hunt, Tombstone, Bat Masterson, Cisco Kid which was one of the first and said to be THE first TV show in color in the late 1940's, and more like Science Fiction Theater which was color in its first season, then went to B&W to save money and there were so few color sets in 1955 and 1956 anyway.

*No matter the role, Dale Robertson's true nature and personality, ie: "the essence of one's Soul", always shined through.* Actors realize that some can take on a role and become the essence of it, and some make the role the essence of themself, Dale was the latter. Either approach offers a success in the profession, however, as the Human Ego delights in judging, the actors deem the ability to become the character as the sign of superior acting. I have to disagree, I feel either approach is a Transforming Experience, and feel that there's something to be said about those whom inspire millions to follow their work, by putting themselves out there, and being so aligned with their True and Higher Self that it always shines through. Dale Robertson was Authentic, and he was one stellar attractive individual, inside and out He was Really handsome, *aka "a hottie"!*

So Dale Robertson beat the crap out of Leo Gordon in this episode. That is one of very few instances where a Leo Gordon character loses a fist fight. Usually the dude is larger than life and absolutely cold, lethal. It would have been cool to see a Western fist fight between Leo Gordon and Claude Akins. Both those guys were good at playing mean, brutish thugs.
