+ Salty Stephen Anime adaptions of Tales would be nice, as long as they do not give it to the people responsible for the error ridden Persona 4 anime. Might I ask what Luminous Arc is? I have not heard of that one.

ES21007 I liked the one for Abyss, didn't know Symphonia had one though. I knew there was one called Legendia. I think if Xillia does get an anime, it would be well received. I haven't heard anything about Zestiria yet other than there is a chance it is PS3 as well as PS4. Thanks for the update/reminder though.

Nothing has progressed. Bamco does not make the openings they outsource it to other companies. In recent years they simply switched to a better company called Ufotable who has had amazing quality animation for many years.

Fractured Milla is the worst thing about this game. If only she had more(and better) screen time without “Tsunderism shit”. Her time with Elle is the best thing about the character.(Used more for a plot device). She is more a “love bait” for troll xillia fans(Jude and Milla fans) but in the end Lara is the canon pair for Ludger *IF* ... 😥
We got to see what would happen a Milla with a human personality... She grew onto me... Dammit I still hate that rule 'two coidentical beings cannot exist in the same dimension.'
Man I always thought Abyss had the best characters, Graces had the best story, and Vesperia had the best game play. But then Xillia 1 and 2 came and changed everything! seriously it's the most underrated game ever! especially Xillia 2, it has a great story, the most fun game play, and some of the greatest characters ever (Gaius and Alvin).
This is more impressive because right here in this fight... it's not the same millia. It's litterally a millia from a different dimension that still thinks humans are trash.
This game is by far my favorite out of all the titles I've played. Started at Symphonia and played all of them up to this point. This game has moved me in so many ways. Not many games can get me emotionally moved enough to cry, but this one definitely did. I have hopes for Zestiria, but I'm not expecting a masterpiece like Xillia 2.

I just love Ayu. I was listening to Song 4 u today, remembered it was for a game, and looked it up. I have to say that I'm impressed by this opening! It looks interesting.
2020's been a funny thing. Made me all the more nostalgic for my time spent travelling, my High School days, and Tales of Xillia 2. God I miss this game.
I have to say, I liked this game even more than I thought I would. The story, the addition of ludger to the already great characters from the original game and the fun gameplay make this an amazing game. It might even be up there along with tales of the abyss as one of my all time favorites.
Strange that after all the controversy, and along with all the RPGs I've played... this is one of my favorite RPGs. It's like the love child of "Tales of" and "Fate Stay Night" with the battle mechanics of an actual fighting game. With a voiceless main character that literally is like the main character of a visual novel, where you as the player makes the decisions of the character. It's a Frankenstein's monster of a game... and I love it :)
Feels good coming back to this. I absolutely ADORE this game. Xillia 1 was already awesome but Xillia 2... man, did i put my heart and feelings into this game, it's not even funny, how much i love Ludger, Elle and Fractured Milla, i mean... they are the best and most lovable characters i know, not even joking
It's a song by Hamasaki Ayumi. Of course it's good. She's the Queen of J-Pop and you can hear her songs everywhere 10-20 years ago, from radios to TV commercials. I'm even playing this game all over again recently after 12 years.
Of the few Tales games i have played, Xillia has been both my first and most favorite one yet, though the Zestria and Vesperia are pretty close seconds.
Just finished Tales of Xillia yesterday ! It is now my favourite Tales game, just before Vesperia! Can't wait to play the sequel in less than 2 weeks yay ! :D
The Tales series has been with me all the way since symphonia back when I was 9, thankyou for providing me with a lifetime of entertainment and joy, even till this day, this defined my childhood, and is my personal, studio ghilbi.
Okay, the protagonist has white hair, dual pistols, a sledgehammer, dual swords, and can transform. Is this a tales game or a fanfiction writer's wet dream?
Uhhh, well according to what I hear ludger, the white haired dude was trying to be some ultra super secret agent (kidding of course but it was something similar) so that's why he has a wide array of weapons at his disposal. However the two things that piss me off about xillia 2 is, 1) ludger doesn't talk.... At all. Well until you beat the game and unlock his voice. I seriously hope they just forgo all that and let me hear his voice from the start because I hate mute protagonist. 2) They don't even try to redesign maps or so I hear. Apparently they don't even reshape it, it's the exact same map from xillia 1 with treasure placement etc. everything where it was before. Somehow I feel that's really lazy.... But this is what I hear from people who claim to play the game so I'm not entirely sure. However the mute thing is set in stone defined already....
lildanial1 1) There's a reason they do that, and I'm going to leave out spoilers as to why. 2) It is a bit lazy, but there's new content as well and this game is pretty much making up for Xillia being mediocre.
TylightDark While I disagree with Xillia being mediocre, saying that every new tales is horrible is the new fad now. so even if something is justified story-wise and well done, it's not like the people will actually care... damn these fanbases - - ' Well, I still think that people will like Xillia 2 a lot mome, since it is quite grimdark and people usually like that. It's stupid to sum it up to this, yeah, buh, uh.
I like Xillia but let's be honest. The boss fights were lazy as they broke out of combos based on hit counts, making single-striking artes better. The game was horribly unbalanced, where Milla and Jude were godlike whereas Rowen folded like paper (and was STILL broken). Framerate drops when nothing impressive was going on. Cheated out of a second world almost entirely. It's no secret Xillia was rushed to hit the deadline of the 15th Tales anniversary.
5 years have pass and still love this game and the first game too, can not forget about that :O, but still play it here and there because it will be my favorite Tales game beside Legendary and Grace top 3 i guess :)
I remember hardly anything from this game... But my best friend and I spent a week straight binging it at her house in the summer of 2014. Literally would hand the controller off after a couple hours... It was the best time. This song gives me an incredible amount of nostalgia.
I played Symphonia, graces f, Xillia 1, Xillia 2, Zestiria, and I'm sorry but Xillia 2's scenario was the best and the most badass one. So many surprising revelations and plot twists... love it so much.

For real! With how well Arise did. It’s almost granted as it will be the easiest to do. All they have to do is sharpen the graphics. Be cool if they add the Japanese voices as well. I could definitely see a xilla 1&2 combo pack in the future.
