Thanks for making this exhibition. By themselves, Jude's artes don't seem terribly interesting (compared to Senel's or Regal's martial arts) but I bet the improved combat system makes them more of a spectacle.
I think the key word there is "student". The plot started while he was still in school. So maybe he never had the opportunity to learn anymore healing magic.
