Talisker 10 vs Port Charlotte 10: Is there such a thing as too much peat? 

I LOVE Talisker 10. I loved it from the first sip, having come from Jameson black barrell it had a 3D aspect, I loved the maritime taste. I do think that most experts agree that PC10 is a superior whisky, based on its expertly balanced wine and peat.

Everyone must have known which scotch was which, The Talisker in the bottle was dark and reddish as well as in the glass with the blue sticker. The Port charlotte is pale color in the glass. Good show, looking forward to next round.

Was really pulling for Talisker 10! Just means I now need to get a PC10 in the cabinet! Great show as always Dummies! Cheers!🥃

On the blends, I would skip both and drink a Monkey Shoulder. It’s just another $7 where I live and we’ll worth it. Between the Talisker and Port Charlotte, I would take the Port Charlotte every time. If you did this with a Talisker Dark Storm that would be a lot closer in my opinion.

Ive been telling anyone who will listen Dewar’s 12 and 15 are the best value you can find.

PC is the best peated whisky there is. the Special releases are even better. if you you like Octomore but can't afford it. get the MC01 PC 10. it's amazing

tried the Talisker 10 it was good but the Port Charlotte was a lot richer, i had more expectations with Talisker and had zero with Port Charlotte, 2 bottles of PC10 came in the mail today
