Leo started Dos Toros without having any formal training as a CEO or chef. He simply wanted to have a place in NYC where he could get a burrito like he had growing up in the Bay Area. He figured, someone's going to do it, why not me?
Now Dos Toros has grown to 18 locations and has expanded to Chicago. One of the keys to their growth has been marketing and PR, and the lessons that Leo shares can be applied to any sized business in any space.

We love Dos Toros, so shooting this episode was not only enlightening, but also delicious. What are your two takeaways from Leo's interview?

I'm very serious. So focused on goals that I sometimes forget to smile and laugh. "Guac it out" is a good reminder to let myself chill the F out sometimes. I play with a core value of "Fun" and sometimes create social media content that is silly and not directly correlated with my core marketing message. I can have more fun just for the purpose of being myself throughout my lifetime. If I look back from my deathbed, being serious will be a serious downer. TY for this.
