That was my same thought. I don't think it could be a romantic connection. At some point it became more of a friends thing. They seem to have different view according to some important views like family. They would make really great friends with each other because each one can provide the other with knowledge the other doesn't have or didn't think about.

Love this date. They're both so kind, easy going and thoughtful. I felt particularly connected to Stanton: questions about father relationships, trying not to be concerned bout "winning the break up", and wanting to push himself out his comfort zone to in order to work on himself and in search of good connections. This video was so special, the guy on the right was honestly mesmerizing, I definitely developed a crush on him. This conversation was so much deeper and so intense. I was shocked to scroll to the comments and see everyone compliment Gianfranco's looks when I specifically scrolled to see people talk about how hot Stanton is. I mean, I'm surprised but not surprised. Personally, Stanton's eyes, smile and mannerisms were more magnetic to me. Again, super interesting seeing people who look like Gianfranco point out features, such as his eyes, that I would have never paid any attention to.

I love that they talked about the hard things in an open, forthcoming, and respectful manner: Stanton's potential struggle with his family accepting him being in an inter-racial relationship and Gianfranco owning up to his unhealthy feelings in regards to his ex when he was dating him.
