I went to this tour and then saw the premiere of the film at The Roxy(?) in NYC. TH came onstage with Bernie Worrell to introduce the film. My friend and I had been Parliament/Funkadelic fans since Jr. HS so we shouted out Bernie’s name to get his attention. When he saw us, we flashed him the P and he flashed it back at us with a huge smile on his face. A guy in front of us turned around and said, “It’s not Bernie…it’s Byrne! Gawd!”. We laughed in his face which seemed to confuse him. Hopefully, he finally learned who Bernie Worrell was and checked out his contributions to music.
