Speaking of Thackeray's vocabulary u must watch the interviews of Balasaheb Thackeray with:- 1) Rajeev Kumar Bajaj 2) Karan Thapar ( against whom Modi ran away) 3) Kamini Sawhney 4) Arnab Goswami. And many more. Stop considering Maharashtrians as illiterate or they don't know English.

The irony of life is that the same shiv sena has conferred the guard of honour to the living remains of this legend. This teaches us that, hate is temporary and dignity defeats it in the long run. Hats of to Government of Maharashtra for paying tribute to a legend who deserved it. My country is great and still has a long way to go in civil , social and economic prosperity, all of which Yousuf saab a boy born in British India and has left this world after India's 74th year of freedom was apart of. No words can describe the legacy he has left behind.

LEGEND.Period ! such command over English, craft of acting and the technicality of film making. It hurts to see such great people being treated awfully in the name of religion:( Not a single bollywood persona comes any closer to the intellect and bearing of this great artist as on date !

Well, the appreciation is clearly in his glory and not the language. As far as English is concerned , it is the lingua franca and India,as a nation, both as a matter of practicality and complex weave of nation has accepted it.Had it been sanskrit or Urdu, it would still be a matter of appreciation in case, how much i could understand, if at all !

These performers are appreciated for their work, those who are responsible for the protection of our armed personnel should take the responsibilty and respond to it. The PM, Defence Minister, Home Minister and security agencies should resign not an actor. If your work is appreciated you should should show thankfulness and gratitude.

What a man!!! An intellectual giant. A thinking man. Straight talking. Eloquent. Such class. He was much more than an Actor. What he said 21 years ago,unfortunately, hold true today too in India. Hearing this interview felt like seeing the present India. RIP 🙏🙏🙏 Dilip Saab. We are proud of you. You are a man and actor sans frontiers. Actually, his thoughts belong to 21st century. He ought to have been in this century. I have not seen any other actor speak so eloquently and intellectually as Dilip Saab.

Dilip Sahab was very articulate in his views. Awards are recognition for a person's talent in their chosen field. What has language, borders, to do with art? Israel embassy posted a condolence message for his death. A Jewish state and a Muslim Man - This is due to arts.

Vocabulary, articulation, precision, very high intellect, fearlessness and charm ...... Wow. From a 77 yr old at the time of interview. The man was fluent in 12 languages. Did more social and humanitarian work then anyone of his time in Industry. No one can even come closer...... Amitab has imbibed quite a bit it seems from this man but Dilip sahab is light years ahead..... Period. There is some purity in his aura..... RIP sir.

He just debunked the myth that he was forced to change his name because he was Muslim. He was offered Jehangir name too and he willingly chose Dilip Kumar. So much misinformation flies around unbelievable.

@@NightRider0101 that’s to do with family then and their family values, nothing to do with religion or feeling pressurised into using a “Hindu” name. And since when did names have a religion? These names have all derived from the Sanskrit language which was the common language of the whole country and various regions at one point. The Arabic influence came much much later on.

❤ Late Dilip Kumar was an iconic personality. He looked at the epitome of elegance and class of taste. There are so many good actors in the past and now but It has to be said that no one has yet come close to his stature. Dilip Kumar was a phenomenon.
