You know what they should do if a druid gets hand of rag? Turn their cat form into the fiery cat form from firelands. Also create one for bears or if theres a legion or some other fire bear model.. Oh also after testing righteous vengeance it also works from exorcism and holy shock
Mallebale protection is super good, idk why people sleep on it. Its literally like a mini shield wall. If they bump it up to 75% it will match shield wall and give prot actual mitigation, and magical mitigation because its all damage. Doesnt make u immune so no threat drop. Yeah you will have to choose, do you want to drop some sort of stacking mechanic or debuff with another bubble, or is the dmg mitigation going to carry you though the fight. Just gives you more choices
I main a paladin tank and I think the changes are incredible. The devs are fully realizing what they started to do in Phase 3 with improved blessing of sanctuary and making it actually viable and not just Ret AoW Exo spam with a sword and shield. The Prot changes make tanking as a paladin its own thing which it feels like we’ve been waiting for since launch.
i think aegis for prot is still lack luster, i would probably run DS or HG. HG being pretty fun since it heals party members not raid, so it has better use for prot pally over holy. most groups arent likely to put a holy pally into their melee group would cons can deal damage to provide healing. prot on the other hand will be in the melee groups. could be some fun cheese strats by setting multiple paladins in a group with HG to keep 1 party healed up they might do less damage but they wont go down as easily
there's something we still don't know about tier sets, I am the only one who remember that theres not only the t1 who will be available at the start of p4 ? On all the thread and discussion I've seen about the tier sets for p4, I've never seen anyone talking about t2 x) just a reminder we'll be able to acquire the healm and legs of it and we still don't have any info on it, we could possible able to mix 4p t1 and 2p t2 to cumulate the effects depending the impact of the 2p set. I mean don't get me wrong, the 6p t1 seems good but I can't unseen the amount of gcd we'll have to use for it :/ so the 2p t2 could be a solution to this
Malleable Protection is a Shieldwall for Tanks its nice a way to tank hard hitting Bosses when they have an Enrage mode. Same woth Prot Paladin unlimtied HS is just way too juciy, Also new Holy shield can block Ranged Attacks which is bonkers
woah ... that lawbringer 6 set - Flash of light could proc it .... what about a downranked flash of light on an already fully healed target OR yourself with martyrdom hitting yourself.... seemslike we're gonna be amazing aoe healers...

My spec/build got totally hosed. Melee/shockadin. Art of war losing holy shock efficiency/resets. Sheath of light losing healing power(str gear), hammer of righteousness losing damage.
You shouldn't think of it as "I'm missing a large portion of my kit until I get 6 set," but rather as, "I gain an awesome set bonus at my 6 set." I just think everyone focuses too much on peak performance to the point where it's a detriment to the fun they're having.
What are we using on legs as ret they took our damage rune from it . Also that 6 pc seal twisting thing, not a fan . If they’re gonna do something like that they should have made it baseline not a set proc.

Double seal of martyrdom from SoC twist is back baby, only problem is that SoC wants a slow as possible weapon and SoM fast as possible cause still normalized
I hear Holy Shield is going crazy right now so I would consider Deep Prot. Ima check into it myself more testing today in pvp or just in high level areas.
twisting is lame af and was only good when we had only seals and judgment. We have too much now to pay all that attention to the swing timer. Im going to miss the aow exo spam build also. Now we are going to be sitting there twidling our thumbs waiting on cds where before it was boom boom boom.
Yeah I really don’t think people want twisting. It’s a small, very vocal minority on the pally discord that’s influenced this change. For every 10 saying they don’t want it you have 2 guys farting about it.
I think exo spam only sucked as concept, paladin has to feel heavy 2h holy power, unless you want a spelling paladin imo so I'm happy they're going for another play style.
