This is a good video, except for two discrepancies and an omission. ★ First -The budgieregar, commonly known as a "budgie" or "parrakeet," does not live 80 years; these tiny birds have an average lifespan of 10-15 years, give or take a year or two. In the wild, average lifespan is about half that, as they are prey animals for birds of prey, small cat-like animals, and sometimes larger parrots. I suspect you may have confused this with one of the larger parrot species. ★ Second - The largest parrot in the world is NOT the Blue & Gold Macaw. That honor goes to the Hyacinth Macaw, which is somewhat larger. They are somewhat rare, and so tend to be the most expensive parrots. The most gentle Hyacinths are those which were hand-raised from an egg. ★ Third, the omission (and I do understand you can't possibly get to every species and sub-species of parrot in one video) - You didn't mention one of the most common birds kept as pets. That is the Cockatiel, the smallest cousin of the Cockatoo. Cockatiels, along with Budgies, are the most common hand-raised birds, often raised by their humans from the moment of hatching. Cockatiels have an average lifespan of around 30 years.
