Roy Magara from Magara Law and Grace Musariri from Empylo will host a talk in response to the CMHA research with a focus on raising awareness about issues relating to race, discrimination and mental health at work.
In the session, we will speak to the following topics:
1. What equality and diversity mean for the workplace;
2. What discrimination is, challenging racism at work, and how the law can protect employees against discrimination in the workplace;
3. The importance of mental health at work and how racism and discrimination can negatively impact on mental health; and
4. An introduction to mental health initiatives that are inclusive and culture-oriented
