Talking with Kids About Suicide 

When i was younger i used to be scared of dying,now im just looking for ways to die,just something easy,what happens to a dead persons stuff?

Showing kids that they have someone who cares about them and who they can go to in a time of crisis definitely helps! I know this from personal experience.

My mental health issues started at 8 or 9.... FALSE INFORMATION

I really wanna end my life now. Everyday feels like hell to me. My parents just want marks and ranks out of me, they don't care about my feelings at all and if i even get a lesser score, they criticize me and talk negetively about me or worse, beat me. I hate my life. I don't even have a friend whom i could talk to. All this time i've been enduring it but now, my emotions have beem starting to overflow and i've been talking rudely to my peers and parents, i raise my voice which results in me getting beat up, loss of appetite and the willingness to die have filled my mind and i am having problem on concentrating too.

I’m so confused about what is happening to me. I’m 13 and I have no idea why I just feel sad for no reason at all. When I feel sad over nothing I start thinking about how pathetic it is, then I start listing off reasons I hate myself and I start having I guess an anxiety or panic attack? I tried cutting for the first time about two weeks ago. I barley made any cuts but I put rubbing alcohol on the cuts after and the burning felt good... That scared me so much that I had got to that point. So... I talked to my mom about it and after I did, I didn’t feel relieved at all. I just felt embarrassed. Like I was an embarrassment to my family. My mom has started treating me like a five year old. She doesn’t let me out of her sight and when I stay over at my grandmas or grandpas she is constantly texting me. I told her to keep it a secret but she told my older sister and now it’s ten times more embarrassing. I just recently got homeschooled and my sister comes home from school everyday talking about how good her day was and how amazing high school is. That makes me feel even more pathetic because I barley get out of bed anymore. The next time I go to the doctor my mom is going to tell her about it and I’m probably going to have to talk to someone about it. But the thing is I DONT KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN IT AND EVERYTHING IS STARTING TO ANNOY ME. I can’t even eat in public or walk near people without clenching my fists and sticking my fingernails into my palm to keep me distracted from the people near me who I feel like are staring at me. But I disappoint myself again because I still won’t ask for help...

Honestly, i ran away too. But once i got back (i couldnt handle the stress) my parents just shouted at me. I dont think i would've said "yes" if they asked me.

I've been through so many shit but never tried to self harm. I do self criticise though. My mental issues started around 5 - 7

Kids commiting suicide is mostly of bullying and stress. It is very disappointing,humans are the same kind.We are not supposed to kill eachother or bukoy,you can say.

I'm basically a child survivor of.. yes you hear this right, suicide. I was 9, I felt depressed, tired of fighting with my siblings, and wasn't feeling well at all. And so, I took a noose.. and you can imagine what happened after that it was for a second. But i quickly got down and was almost out of air. I felt pain. And my depressed state of mind decreased a little because I didn't want to experience it again. My name is Tor and this is my attempted suicide attempt I survived.

I want to help children to see there is a better way to deal with depression, withdrawal, internal pain and the loss of the will to live anymore. YOU HAVE PURPOSE AND I CAN HELP YOU!

People have to know that because of the more air quality, how more people are depressed. I live in one of the largest cities in Belgium. The only thing I can smell is CO2. If I go to a green nicer place... I'm like a hole other person. I'm 15 and humans feel trapped. We know the world can be better!

It is an unfortunate situation but suicide is a one way ticket to the lake of fire. It is one sin that God does not have the opportunity to forgive because the person who does it has eliminated their own opportunity to ask for forgiveness. Judas Iscariot committed suicide and it was said of him that it would have been better if he never was born. If you are feeling suicidal call out to Him who created us and ask him for help and He will comfort you because He loves you. It is written, "Casting all of your cares upon Him for He cares for you" - Bible

Life is tough. There is only one thing that can bring true joy. Worldly pleasures do not satisfy. Jesus understands and cares and has answers. He has the power to work out your current situations. It’s a relationship, not a church. Not a religion that will make a difference. He’s waiting for you to come to him and not to fear. All the sin in the world would not stop him from wanting to be with you, for he is God of forgiveness and mercy. He too had a very hard life, for he went through betrayals, torture and suffering before he died. Lay it all down on the cross and have him take the pain and torment from you, that you have carried for too long. You have a very real enemy that wants you to believe you are to blame. This is most certainly a lie, Jesus can clarify to you if you come to him with your broken heart. He wants to forgive you and give you a brand-new start in life. He is waiting for you and have nothing to fear and everything to rejoice over. Come home and you will get a fresh new start. Jesus wants you to dream of what you always wanted, and to know he makes dreams come true. He gives you dreams and helps you fulfill them. Jesus created you with dreams and talents for you to fulfill. And when you give your life to him, he begins to lead you in the ways you need to go find fulfillment. He writes straight with crooked lines, each and every person is an individual. Different. Unique from all others. And therefore, there is no canned assignment. Jesus doesn’t make cookie-cutter Christians. Each of you are SO unique, and the mission he gives you is to fulfill your deepest needs and desires.
