Tall Ships Race Hartlepoo 2023
Video highlights of some of the action from the Parade of Sail at Hartlepool 2023, Sunday 9th of June 2023, during the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race.
In my opinion spectators were thin on the ground for the spectacle of the Parade of Sail 2023. Perhaps due to the lack of information available to the general public during the day, a public address system with commentary would have improved the event massively. As the vast majority of spectators probably don't know the difference between Bow and Stern of a ship, let alone Starboard or Portside?!
The local authority has missed an opportunity with this, as it relied upon digital content, which was the best for the entire event.
