that Intro scream "no one should read this, but it must be said" without the mic has become pretty normal thing for all tallah shows, I love it. I got to see them live in SLC utah, and man, i can tell you, you can hear it clearly and loudly in a live setting. my boys got some PROJECTION. so damn cool.
I really like the quiet [redacted] intro. Makes Kungan sound even more lost into himself. As for the concert, thank you for uploading it, and thank you, Tallah, for being an amazing fucking band. Matriphagy was undoubtedly the best metal album of 2020, and The Generation Of Danger's singles are so overwhelmingly cool that I'd learned the lyrics to both songs in like a day. And those aren't even Justin's most favorite songs off of the new album! TL;DR: band good very excited for new album
I’m loving Justin’s live vocals, I remember back in 2018 his vocals were very unrefined, but now some parts of this sounds like the studio album especially during Murder seed, god that was amazing
He been teaching vocals now so I guess he learned how to fine tune that splendid instrument he has in him!!! Justin Bonitz is unlike no other out now!!! Range, ability, versatility, he has it all…. Even a little stripper twerk action for you frisky metal heads!!!
Thank you for murdering Rev Live in Ft lauderdale Florida for us!!!! Amazing show, great night kicked off by you guys alongside vets like Miss May I and All That Remains, Varials also ripped it… but Phil from ATR got sick and Justin did one song with them and absolutely KILLED IT!!!! Shows his star is bright and will shine through with Tallah for years to come!!
Our drummer is Max Portnoy. He also drums for Code Orange, and Code was playing right after us, so he left to rest and get ready for Code's set, and our touring drummer, Joel, tagged in for the remainder of our set :D
We need Max to do his damn thing for Tallah and only Tallah… Joel is a tight drummer but Max has that energy and feel to his drumming…. Like Animal from the muppets or like his pops almost 40 years ago with early Dreamtheater!!! I missed out on his energy all together for my first and only Tallah show thus far!!! But they did not disappoint! Love them, hottest and favorite band out now!!!
None of my friends who listen to metalcore and etc. And that's a lot of my friends - they do not like Tallah. They say they do not like the band because they feel like the vocals do not match the instrumentals, and also that the whole thing sounds like they all don't match each other. Too bad, I enjoy Tallah's music from time to time.
