on november 25th he is 3 months and 48 days he is so cute i like the way that with girrafes they dont have any blud unlike other animals

Giraffe Babies are Fine when they hit the ground. It gets them breathing. If you look carefully, you will see that there's some sawdust to cushion the fall a little bit.

How is this sweet little guy doing? There hasn't been any news about him.

Giraffe births can be really dangerous at times. The fall isn't the main problem though. Mother giraffes can become exhausted during the birth and must sit/lay down, and that can crush or kill the baby.

Are baby giraffes okay when they fall from a high distance like that, or was there a cushion for them to fall on?
