@@Food.Dog.Car. oh, far be it from me to discredit the pilot, I was just making a silly comparison in my head with combustion engines and wondering if the drone would be as fast as electric 🤣
@AlfaCadabra as fast, absolutely not at that scale at least. But repairability and efficiency matter in larger scale. In drones though it's insane. Electric at this size is also lighter weight, it only makes sense
The bigger drones - for filming - sound like a swarm of bees ;-) That's why they record the sounds extra (without any drone nearby) and mix that together in the post processing. It must be lots of work. I wonder if it once would be possible to record live audio from a drone and remove the very typical and loud drone noise (loud for the microphone on the drone) to have the sound of the environment like we see and hear in these documentaries...
@@richard--sit seems possible, at keast partially. By creating antiphase sound. It doesn't seem very hard cause the rotor sound is predictable but nobody doing thes for some reason, maybe there are some problems with that
@@richard--sSoftware like crisp is really good at taking white noise types of sounds out but it’s so loud that most other sounds probably aren’t detectable through it
@GarrettChance Don't they have directional microphones they can use to try and capture what the done is pointing at? (Combined with the drone buzz removal as already discussed of course) I'm sure if you dump enough money into the setup it's possible!
And I doubt it'll be in one piece when your done Got to admit I learned on the dji simulator and was a bit disappointed when my mini3 didn't swith into manual mode
Imagine you’re sitting at home, a quiet night. You’re in the living room, however it’s not too cold so the fireplace isn’t lit. Then all of a sudden out of nowhere, a small drone flies in screaming like that.
@@drew8570or you can inform yourself and watch the full video to see how they struggled with the drop and how some parts did break. Are you usually this slow?
@@kevinm.n.5158 lol, there isn't any new cars out there for a few thousand bucks. This guy's kit isn't worth more than $2k. FPV flying is an extremely cheap hobby to get into. The expense part is crashing and constantly replacing parts.
@@jakebrown1015 do you see F18s or manned air in any of the wars? Drone pilots arnt fancy but they are putting up numbers at an incredible rate. Also the next gen of stealth and speed is being paved by drones. For expample, the new B-21 Raider is literally a drone that’s more valuable than every manned craft. Just do the research or talk to someone in the forces bud
@@bradynicholas6533nice retarded way of thinking. You think learning to fly one of these takes longer than learning to fly a state of the art jet? They have completely different uses and in case you didn’t know a f18 and a commercial drone differ in cost by a few hundred mil.
@@bradynicholas6533 The B-21 isn't a drone. F/A-18s are engaged in Yemen. Drone ops have not and will not ever involve high maneuverability controlled by a human operator.
Man eye finger coordination is on point! I’m sure all it would take is a millisecond of delay when it’s time to pull out at the bottom and you’re picking up pieces of the drone lol. Nice flying man probably the best I’ve seen on RU-vid.
Why do people always yell "let's go" and never show where tf they're going? They're always so excited, seems like the best part of the video is left out?
I don't know if you're being sarcastic, but in case you aren't, it used to be slang to get people excited to perform a task like a team performing in a game and now it's used mostly as an interjection (like "Yay!") to express excitement over an accomplishment. It's the easiest way to tell a late millennial or early zoomer from the rest, and yes, after over a decade, it's starting to get annoying, at least in the way it's used now.
