@ThemeParkAvenue it probably was a jet passing by. The park sits close to McGuire AFB. Like 10 mins from the park. McGuire is a very active and very large AFB and its common to see and hear military aircraft flying around the area. It's a cool perk with Six flags, you can be riding a coaster and get a very quick glance at a F16 passing by.
There is also a regional airport a few miles away with small jets going by every few minutes, two jbmdl is not very active in general, most of the traffic is westbound
For reference. The jet engine sound you hear is probably a jet passing by. The park sits next to a very large and very active airforce base. Its common to see military aircraft flying over the area where six flags is and sometimes flying low.
It’s actually not, I went on it with my dad and sister during the 4th of July and they held us up for a little to watch the fireworks. You don’t even feel the drop because it goes so fast. It’s the same for both
The craziest thing about it is the wait while your strapped in before it starts. I had so much anxiety and then it goes so fast that you barely remember it after! I could only compare that feeling to childbirth in that you forget the pain shortly after it happened. Apparently I was screaming the whole time on the coaster that the workers asked if I was okay but I barely remembered the ride after I got off. Weird experience 😮😂
Oh yeah it is an awesome rush. You exit the station to the loading queue, then you advance into the launch track, the train locks into the launcher, and then when the braking fins drop 5 seconds later you go to 128 MPH in 3.5 seconds.
I got to ride twice in a row once, it was during the middle of the week and I was waiting at the coaster when it opened for the day. When I completed my first run there were only 6 people waiting in the station. The operator asked if anyone wanted to stay on for another run. A few of us stayed on and after the ones who didn't want to stay got off and the people waiting got on. We didn't even have a full train. Then we went off for my second run of the day. Fun fact, when you go over the top, on a clear day you can see Manhattan on the horizon.
I have been waiting to get on Kingda Kha for 15 years ! Finally managed my way on it 1 week ago, from France ! What a ride ! 🤯 4 times in row as some seats were left vacant … my brains turned 3 times on itself ! Haha Best experience ever ! (With Tatsu 😍)
@@ThemeParkAvenue Cool ! 😎 I don’t know if you keep an eye on what is going on in Europe, but Voltron Coaster (Europa Park, Germany) and Toutatis (Astérix Park, France) may be worth attention 👀. New generations rides with several launches area (like what is planned for the Dragster Hill ! 😍) And hit me up if panning on travelling in the area ! 💪
Got on the coaster. The worst part was waiting for it to launch. The anxiety keeps building by the second then you finally take off and your facing the sky.! I’d do it again, but that free fall is a definite no. I had a friend do it and when he got off he could barely walk because of all of the adrenaline. I said nope, not for me.
I love how zumengarro and kingda ka went down at the same time. I went there today for the 4th time this year, and I had so much fun. Sadly, it’s the last day for el toro and kingda ka because they close for the season
The last 2 seconds if you look at the left there’s a jet going by which explains the noise, it’s not the roller coaster there is an Air Force base nearby. I recognized it being that I have been to Langley AFB in Virginia and constantly heard them going by
So I grew up near great adventure and it was my favorite place I went a good amount of times. Literally every time I went for the first 6 years since kingda ka open it was shut down for the day! I was literally dreaming of going on it for years before getting to ride it. But finally one day I got to ride it front row. It truly is amazing. I don’t live anywhere near Jersey anymore but I’m definitely hoping to get to ride in the near future! I haven’t been back since they added that drop tower either. ❤
I never get tired of seeing this..I could watch this on repeat for hours..Just daydreaming of the day I finally get to ride this..Which will be in the very near future 🔮
I’m already scared of heights AND coasters but loveeeee the thrill of seeing how tall they all are and how BIG the loops are of others whn in person! Call me the “bag lady” cause I just be watching😂… I would LOVE to see this in person! NICCCEEE but AINT NO WAY! Would LOVE to see it roll bck!!!
There should be a drop of doop that turns into like a racing coaster so you go up with 2-3 other carts and you drop and take a turn and BOOM rollercoaster
Y'all can't tell but you have NO IDEA how much that structure moves and flexes, it's meant to do that but it doesnt make it any less terrifying sometimes
I went on this twice in a row for a fright fest school trip last year and then when I found out it was the tallest in the world I had no reason to be as scared of roller coasters!
