I've played just about every pedal there's ever been since the mid 1980's and have always loved strap drive pedals..They're light , quick and you don't have to worry about chain rusting , or grease goop hardening over time..I'm seriously considering this pedal because Tama quality has never let me down..I'm just very particular about the weight, lightness, and speed of the pedals i use..
Thanks for the review. I'm also going back to playing a one pedal setup and am extremely interested in checking out this particular Iron Cobra. I'm sold on it now!
Just got my iron cobra flexi glide double kicks and gotta say how imoressed I was!. Theyre very responsive and I could solidly run on them for a good 5 minutes!!!. The cobra coil and encased bearings are so smooth and take all the fatigue out of your ancles and knees
The flexi glide is the one pedal that i haven't tried out yet, and will be doing so this week..Any thoughts would be appreciated..Great review too.. Cheers !
I'm currently on a Pearl Eliminator chain drive, and just find the return is a little to slow to react to my foot..I know that you can switch over to the strap drive option, and that the vitrtually limitless adjustments are great, but i think that on this pedal there's just something that doesn't sit right with my playing..My question to you is , how would you compare the 2 pedals in all aspects of it's performance ?..
