Tamagawa University and Taiko Group - Millennium Stage (April 12, 2019) 

I saw the show in-person at the Kennedy Center earlier this evening. This year was particularly special as my mother was able to see the group for the first time. I very much enjoyed the new dances. LOVE Tamagawa University Taiko and Dance! ❤️❤️❤️

Watching this in 2023, right after these amazing students visited Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA after a 4-year absence due to pandemic. So beautiful, so much grace and love for their tradition and culture. Looking forward to their next visit. Thank you so much!

My family was there in person also. This was a truly mesmerizing & authentic performance !! . . . Absolutely loved this once-a-year *essential event* for fans of Japanese Culture. ** My only complaint is that the Center Staff should have staged this in a much larger space (e.g. Family Theater - 324 seats or Terrace Theater - 490 seats). Since the Tamagawa Univ. troupe performs here on a regular basis, the KC management should have learned from past experience what size audience to expect. Instead, they prevented more than half the attendees from gaining a *decent view* of the stage by constantly pushing us away from sides and ramps (despite plenty of emergency access to exit doors to outside terrace). KC should just sell low-price tickets next time and let everyone watch this fantastic display in peace in larger hall.

We saw them perform this program in March 2019 at West Chester University in Pennsylvania.
