TAMAGOTCHI UNI FULL REVIEW 

Here’s my first full review after a week of game play! I hope you find this helpful 🙌🏻💜

I’d honestly love to see them implement mixing again, that would complete this for me. Hopefully they add this in the next gen.

I honestly can't wait. It's almost time!!! Im excited about the personalities and the travel aspect. I can't wait to see how the different personalities are diferentiated. I got the pink one and it will be here on the 18th!

As a long time Apple Watch wearer, the sweat buildup (as gross as it is) is totally normal and safe. Silicone watch bands tend to build up sweat a little more than leather bands cuz of the material. Anyone who’s nervous, remeber the Tama is designed with children in mind. Children are messy and clumsy. A bit of water and sweat will be ok, esp given how the silicone watch band has a cover over the charger

Glad to see you wearing it on your wrist, when in the first place, you said it was bulky 😂 Edit: the menu being plain leave room for it being decorated during holidays, maybe adding Christmas lights or trees around the edges

Planning to start the physical hunt for it on release day. Could have preordered but want to see the colors in person to help me decide!

I don’t have a lot of experience with tamagotchis other than the mobile app and the kingdom hearts nano one, this is my first mainline tamagotchi and I also managed to get it 5 days before the release date. I love how the buttons feel without the strap. Wearing it on my wrist it does feel a bit bulky but I saw a glimpse of it in a mirror and it doesn’t look that bad from far away.

Thanks for the video. I hope users will "experiment" a lot with this tama and manage to unlock ALL the content without the need for another unit. Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷

I’m debating on getting it, just got back into tamagotchi after my 25 year absence from 1997 lol. Will it take over my life is there a pause like setting the clock screen like on the old ones ?

I have the option to get the uni or the smart which one do you think I should get?

I thinks it's because it's not actually released until 15th so more things will open updates will start and I think that's why we get the same colour egg every gen so looking forward to Sat lol I love mine x

Hi! Thanks for this video, it's really great! But I still have a concern, I want to go back to Tamagotchi after literally 20 years of not playing with a Tamagotchi 😂 But I don't know if I should buy a Pix or a Uni.. What would you recommend? The Uni seems great with the charging cable and the physical buttons, WiFi connection but the Pix seems more complete with all the games and daily tasks etc.. I'm lost!!! Please help 😂

Hey i hope its okay but i have a few questions as i got mine yesterday and i can’t find the info online. Will the servers go up at some point soon? Will the food oprions to buy start changing? Can you keep it turned on all the time or will it go into sleep mode always? I quite like it but like u said im not blown away but ik its going to get better so im waiting for that ☺️

I can't remember if it just me but didn't the old tamogachi have kids together because I remember you can have eggs when u and your friends pet is adults . Can you do that in this toy

Hard disagree on the size. I understand the point the pix feels great to hold however as somone who carries 2 unis around with me (to earn the materials from walking) I like the smaller size I can just put my 2 on a lanyard which is useful. I disagree on the menu as well, I think it fits really well remember this is a device aimed at kids so a simple layout makes sense and it's easy to understand. I agree on the games, lets face it everybody plays fastfood because it's fast and easy money/happiness the other games aren't even worth touching. II agree on the sound sounding distorted, honestly this could be fixed by adding a software update that adds a volume slider in the menu. For me it's way too loud and I really don't like it so have to use it turned off whereas I wish I could just turn it down half way. I also agree on the tamaverse, right now it's very boring I hope when the servers go live and we get more updates that will change as someone who spent a small fortune on 2 of these things

You should check for update, today's update lets you change volume levels.

i agree!! i definitely think the UI is ugly. they’ve done SOOO much better before 😢

I find the wifi to be very lack lustre and pretty spotty (for some reason my tama will only connect to my phone hotspot, not my home wifi). I also find them obnoxiously loud, I Love playing a tamagotchi with the sound on but I find myself muting this gen much more than the others

I personally also think it's bit to early to judge the uni because If they made it wifi so that they can fix what ppl don't like and updates

this seems cool, but hopefully with the wifi updates they will make its games and connecting with people better, that seems to be the only downside to me

The watch band made me break out a bit tbh. Hopefully they will make more breathable styles... but it is SO CLUNKY it might not even matter bc I'll never wear it lol

As a 90’s child I am really happy that Tamagotchi released a new one ! I will buy it soon, seems so cool and nostalgic. 🥺✨

thanks for the review. The tama is nice, I am a collector and I will get one for sure, but in 2023 I was hoping for something better and new. Features are ok, but the "engine" (menus, animations...) does look very old, they should scrap it and start from the ground and the "connection" is quite disappointing.

People expect perfection from their Tamagotchi but it’s just not possible- this is an imperfect world- be happy!

So many more dislikes than likes but highly recommended it 😂

That music is not distorted, it's just traditional Japanese music that isn't exactly tuned like the standard Western tuning system!
