and I honestly dont think it would be hard to replicate at all..... idec if they bring back the connections I need my pet to do more than eat and poop like no school or jobs no lil community what they hey
Very cool! The Connection part was funny; I'm also really hoping they do a Connection rerelease in the future myself. It would be an insta-buy for me. I think Connections are still some of the best models. I commented on your last video and I did actually cave and buy a Uni :) I absolutely adore it!! It's my first color model.
Even if they didn’t release a physical device, it would be cool to pay $20 and be able to download a patch for your Uni that allowed it to operate like a (TamaTown free) Connections. People would be spending $80 just to have an Uni and Connections Anniversary in operations at the same time. And if they did want to release something physical, they can do Connections inspired Faceplates and Watch Bands (ohhh or maybe even Connections style key chain accessories). So many ways to make money off the Tama community next year… come on Bandai, come through for us pleaseeeeeee.

So in othet words Japan is the one who decides what happens with Tamagotchi around the world, that's really interesting. I thought it was different since when Tamagotchi got color tamas with the TMGC+Color we got the TamaTownTamaGo and at that time as a kid I felt it was a inferior cheap copy but still bought it but I thought Bandai US was trying to copy Japan but Japan was the only making the shots so I understand now. It's interesting because I believe Japan got the Smart while we got the Pix so it's different sometimes.
Good to have the experienced hobbyists in actual contact with the company reps. I would love to see tons of customization and side things to do like the ol p's with mods. It just felt like there was always something to do

It is nice to hear they know what the fans want but at the same time it does all come down to profits I understand. I know a bunch of us would buy a lot of connections when the time comes due to the shells mainly. I'm happy with what the uni has to offer right now but with the ability to download updates I do hope to see more characters onto the device and from what was said it's possible and it begs the question will it be returning tamas or brand new ones?
I think there's an opportunity to target older audience in general. Not just long-time fans. 90's kids have grown up. If they can make a separate line/version of the Uni that's more of a fashion statement rather than a toy, i.e. that's smaller, slimmer, higher quality/durable, waterproof etc, then they can target the demographic who doesn't necessarily want to buy a full blown smartwatch, but still want something trendy to accessorise their wrist and yet relatable to their generation.
