I'm wondering if you can disassemble the re-release and use it to replace parts of an original v3 as a means of refurbishing it. I've heard that the old board is incompatible with the new shell, but other parts like the screen, buttons, etc. I wonder if anyone's tried that.
You mention that you thought we might be getting Tama town in the future, can I just ask what this means lol cause how would they add or unlock something that isn’t already on the device? Is it possible to *update* it? Just got the new connection and am having so much fun with it but there’s so much to learn. Love the video!
Interesting to see that on the original V3 it's "P" for "Points" and the weight is in pounds whereas on the re-release it's "G" for "Gotchi points" and the weight is in grams.

I can't connect my original with my re-release! Bummer. Are you trying to connect two of the same version? Make sure you only press B on one of them while is says "Stand By"
I am so excited about my new Connection but holy cow is the display hard to see! The pixels aren’t nearly as clear and crisp as they were on my original Connections

Yes, I saw that announcement too. Bit of a bummer for sure, but Japan has always been very against foreigners buying anything from Japan in general, so all together not that surprising. I'm sure they'll pop up on eBay and Mercari and others soon though, so it will be possible to buy them regardless.
@RaTamaZone Right! I just hope they don't price them too expensive, since the value of them is clearly high now. If it is expensive, I'd probably still have to buy them either way. We'll see on July 12th/August 8th when they were gunna release!
I used to think the diferent ways the dinky dino was born was because it was a different version with different characters it could change into like the original tamagotchi did when jt had V1 and V2
I don’t like how there seems to be a constant faint background of pixels that I don’t recall being this intense on the originals. Maybe I’m mistaken. But I don’t see that on your original v3 here 🤔. Is that faint pixel background visible IRL? Edit: I know you said something about the contrast being darker but I’m honestly not quite sure what that means 🤣☺️

Thank you for watching! Yes, I have those in my collection, and yes they are authentic. However, they have a programming flaw with them in which the game can never be won to raise the happiness. Only method is by feeding ice cream, which makes it difficult as it also raises the likelihood of your dino getting sick. They pop up on eBay every now and then, I would keep an eye over there. :)
hello! I have a question about the new Tamagotchi Connections coming up... Will the japanese and global ones be exactly the same besides the shell difference? I'm thinking about buying 2 japanese shells, but I concerned if they'll lag like how most Tamagotchi Meets lag. Any thoughts?
