@P Williams Great points. I believe that Black church is where most of our morals were taught and cultivated. The foundation of the entire civil rights movement was formed and nurtured in the black church. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the majority of our great leaders of the 60s, which informed the black love of the 80s and 90s all started in the black church. You're right. Fear has shaken us into an awful new direction...but we are strong and resilient. I believe we are waking up and will make a come back!

Yes! I LIVE for that part lol, she does it in 'The One' and a few others too. Honestly, not even saying this as die hard Tamartian but she is undoubtedly so underrated. I'm from the UK and hardly aaaanybody knows of Tamar here, I have to mention Toni and Unbreak my Heart to even begin the conversation of the Braxtons. We have a weird music industry over here, a lot of UK artists (bar the usual Adele and Sam Smith) have a great debut solo album, storm the charts and then COMPLETELY disappear (Jessie J, Emeli Sande), hardly anyone sticks around, but the US market seems more favourable to everyone in certain sectors, there is no REAL differentiation here between genres in the charts imo and hardly anyone in the UK that I know of (unless they're musically involved) truly seek out music to listen to besides what they hear at the clubs and on the radio. Lmao I went a bit off track, but what I'm saying is, Tamar is pretty established in the US, she should look into releasing here, she could go BIG, and I'd 100% support that.
