I'll be back in Tamarindo in 3 weeks for my 14th time... this video helped me with my withdrawal till then. Thank you so much for making this, all those spots you went to, I've been so many times before but it never gets old! Pura Vida and Saluda!
One of my favorite places I have visited in Coasta Rica was Rafiki Safari Lodge. Absolutely beautiful place in a nature preserve in the mountains. Lots of activities like river rafting, horseback riding, hiking etc. Glad to see you two in this country.
Great episode of The Country Collectors! So much information! Fort in the bush, poop in the bag! So much fantastic footage! The nature shots are always so great… the sunset and boat trip - WOW! I also enjoyed all the quick shots of the local establishments - gives you a feeling of being there.
I really enjoyed watching your Tamarindo travel vlog! Your exploration of the town, Playa Tamarindo, Playa Grande, and Playa Langosta was informative and visually stunning. I appreciate that you covered everything from where to eat in Tamarindo to the Tamarindo Nightlife, making it a comprehensive guide for anyone looking to visit this area in Costa Rica. The Jungle Boat Tour through the Tamarindo Mangrove Estuary looked like a unique experience, and I'm now considering adding it to my bucket list. I also appreciate your perspective on Tamarindo being a "touristy" destination, but still offering something for everyone. Thank you for sharing your travel experience with us!
Great to see you exploring Tamarindo, Costa Rica! It sounds like you had a fantastic time staying at Tamarindo Backpackers and immersing yourself in the hostel community. It's always a great way to meet new people and get valuable information from experienced travelers. The colorful and fun money in Costa Rica is amazing, and it's great to see that you enjoyed the hostel's amenities like the pool, shared kitchen, and hammocks. Exploring the town on foot seems like the perfect way to experience everything that Tamarindo has to offer, and renting a bike or a mountain bike from Handlebar is an excellent idea. The bustling atmosphere and nightlife make it a perfect destination for adventure-seekers who love to have a good time. I can't wait to see your next video, where you'll be exploring Santa Teresa!
Great introduction and first few days in Costa Rica 🇨🇷…… Banana bread is my absolute fav and my oh my that dish Adam had looked amazing….. 😍🍞🍌🍨 hmmmmmm 😋 Looking forward to the rest of your travels……. 🙌🏽
I love the look of their currency! The surf shack looked like it would be a great spot for lunch. I'd love to spend a day at that beach. I would love to watch the turtles on the beach too. So many beaches, and Adam's sunburn looks painful! That pup was cute but not great that she's an aggressive playful. Beautiful tour around the town.
I was pleasantly surprised to see you guys went from Guatemala to Costa Rica in this video! I literally told my hubby omg they’re in Costa Rica now! Lol 🤗 love it!
You Guys surprised me! I was expecting a lot more from Guatemala like Tikal, Flores lake & so on. Anyway, Great as well you made it to Pura Vida Country. I went there back in the 90´s and loved it. Lots to discover as river rafting, jungle touring, beach & so forth! Enjoy it !
Thanks! Like we said we had tickets booked home so we didn’t get to show more like we would have hoped but luckily we were able to see those spots back in 2018!
Great, GREAT VIDEO!! I have been in Costa Rica so many times,3 times in Tamarindo! I always tell people that is the only place I always want to come back, the country is a paradise wherever you go and Tamarindo is a wonderful place to visit. It only gets better with time I think. So many good spots to go, great food and great coffee, awesome people. Eneas the place you show at the beginning of the video is really good. If not the first, then the second best pizza I've ever had. Looking forward to return to Tamarindo now.THANK YOU. You rule! Hugs from Honduras.
So glad to see guys still enjoying so delicious goodies! Your smoothies looked yummy and that was a croissant! It most definitely looked like it felt like a brick 😆 I like that it's a breaking bad themed restaurant. It was a great show! As always an amazing video filled with amazing views and yummy looking treats! Great work my friends!
Very beautiful place. @6:52 the dude was hyped :) . I really love your travels. Very detailed and the capture looks really nice. Playa Grande beach looks superb, long stretch of seaside. Amazing experience.
You made it to Costa Rica, my homeland! Things to know from a native: My country is synonymous of beautiful mountains, beaches, Volcanoes and amazing rain forest! Ticos are for the most part, great people who will make you feel welcomed and at home! However, please pay attention to safety and be aware that it’s not an affordable place to vacation! Enjoy the pura vida way of life! From a tica currently living in QRO, Mexico
Breaking Bread ..delicious. That croissant looks amazing & the smoothies!! There goes the budget!! $9.00 for peanut butter??? Wow!! Love the market!! Nice hat!! Beautiful beach. Love all the turtles! Read a great story about them & their nesting !! banana bread ice cream sandwich… wow!! What a great day !!❤
Great vidio, Thanks for sharing. I remember Playa Tamarindo from my first trip to CR. 1990. Dirt roads and the Tamarindo Diria Hotel was one of a couple of places to stay. Peaceful town then. Then, the forign money rolled in. Looks crowded. Reminds me of Sayulita.
I stayed at the Diria in the eighties. It was one of the only places to stay. We went down there for a surf vacation in the summer when it was still a fairly sleepy small surf town. It was hard to escape the heat, if we weren't surfing we were in our room playing guitars with the ac booming. Do they still have the "Why Not"s around? I have to say wherever you looked you would see some the most beautiful local women.
Hi Heidi and Adam! I'm a few days late to the "Costa Rica party" but catching up now with my mid afternoon cup of tea! Thank you for sharing this great video. I know very little about Costa Rica, so this is definitely an education! There definitely is a different feeling that comes across compared to your other videos in Mexico and Guatemala and I am looking forward to seeing the rest of your journey! Cheers and safe travels! Lisa from Winnipeg
Wow Tamarindo has changed a lot in the 10 years since we were there.we waded the River to Playa Grande Before we heard about the Crocodiles. Thankfully the taxi flagged us down before our return crossing. PG beach was the first place I saw live sand dollars! So cool. Pure Vida!
This brings back great memories. Not far from you is Samara, one of my favorite Costa Rica destinations. You will love Punto Playa Carrillo. It's the next beach over from Samara Beach. Also check out Arenal and Manuel Antonio for wildlife.
@@TheCountryCollectors i have to ask did you guys drink or eat tamarindo while in Tamarindo?? and hey Cantoamerica is one of my all time favorite bands from costa rica
I just returned from a week in Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta with my son- we loved both places and I felt well prepared thanks in part to your videos!! I will be traveling to Costa Rica with my other son for a week at the beginning of April- I let him choose the destination even though I would have preferred more Mexico… It has been kind of overwhelming to plan this trip because I know very little about CR. It’s great to see you guys there with so much helpful info even though we are not staying in Tamarindo. Let me know if you happen to be in La Fortuna the first week of April!
Hey Julie! Oh that is great to hear! I know I felt overwhelmed too! Maybe join some Costa Rica Facebook groups there is a lot of info there! I think we will just miss you! But have so much fun!
@@TheCountryCollectors yes I’m on one CR fb group (and several for Mexico) they are definitely also helpful! I’m sure we will find plenty to do- in fact I’m mostly overwhelmed by the huge amount of activities to choose from but I’m sure it will be great! Have fun! Looking forward to your next videos!
@@julroden1 Hi Julie, with all due respect with The Country Collectors, you can also check @AlexanderAyling youtube Channel for Costa Rica tips and destinations
That is very interesting about the money conversion. I live in Palmares Costa Rica and we always pay in colons. Glad you guys are having fun. Tourists spots tend to be higher, Costa Rica is definitely more expensive then other central American countries.
