Is it me or does anyone else starting to think that SH MONSTERARTS are just milking Monsterverse Godzilla and don't even attempt to get him screen accurate. But when it comes to Heisei characters, they are much bigger in accuracy. I want to get the Battle version of Godzilla, final wars gigan. But why are they just not giving a shit about the sculpt and points of articulation.

Literally a few weeks ago I was "talking" with another reviwer of this figure, just... they're some really (sorry for the word) dickrider's of bandai lmao, like he was justifying the bad sculpt and articulation with: new special color ver, and that because it was exclusive to the shops it was logical to use the same model as 2021. I would say no, no please bandai stop there's no justification, even this is worse than 2021 now that I'm seeing more of him. Hiya is the new king for Monsterverse. also, TAMASHI QUALITY

I just got Iris and was debating on getting this guy or waiting a bit and getting '91. Looks like I'll go for the '91. The main reason I want this guy is more of a completionism, as I have all the other Monsterverse variants. But I doubt this guy is gonna blow up on the aftermarket any time soon.

I really do like the Monsterarts line, but yeah, their Monsterverse stuff is just a joke. I just opened up my Hiya Godzilla 2019. I was planning on giving myself the weekend to compare it with the SHMA 2021... immediately holding the Hiya, I decided I'm selling the SHMA lmao.

They need to stop making this Godzilla it's annoying like come on re-release Destroyah or other monster's. Im happy we're getting Space G again but dang why does Destroyah never get merch it's so stupid, not even him what about Megaguirus or Orga? Like come on.

The head sculpt has degraded to looking like trash by this point. Give me a day or two and I could sculpt a much better one in Blender. This is crazy.

As terrible as Shin G Night Combat version is, at least they try by making it in a translucent plastic material. I don't see the point of this Night Color Edition. It's just a very light not obvious paint on the figure and how the heck did they do even worse on the teeth. It looks like he had dirty yellow gum instead of teeth. Not to mention, they call it the 2019 version and the original has the atomic breath effect. To add salt on the wound, this is supposed to be a Tamashii Store exclusive? And releasing this after Hiya has enter the competition months before with wide acclaim?

Dear Bandai/Tamashii Nations: PAINT, THEN ASSEMBLE. (And in this case, emphasis on assemble.) The colors themselves are fine, but AAAUUUUUGH. I really hate to say it, but Bandai (at least with Godzilla) has been going downhill. Earlier this year, I got the Hyper Modeling "Godzilla vs Kong" set from BBTS, and Kong's axe blade was missing. BBTS outright sent me a new set, and all was good. Then literally my next package from them was the Hyper Modeling MechaGodzilla 6-pack, and Kiryu '02 was missing a shoulder piece. I got it exchanged, but I can't help but feel the folks at BBTS gave me suspicious glares. Seriously, what are the chances of some random shmuck from the Midwest ordering a Japanese product, and TWICE IN A ROW have to deal with missing parts? I shouldn't have to record myself opening the box, but I'm gonna have to from now on...at least if it's from Bandai. Hell, Shinichi Wakasa even expressed some disappointment with the MMS Kaiser Ghidorah; never mind the 2004 release, other recent figures have shown they're capable of so much better than that. And I was absolutely dreading the SHMA Gigan after I heard about the fins. I have him now, and I still dread it. I will say though, if this dip in quality can be attributed to Toho being stingy and/or workers unionizing, pay them, for the love of Christ. But even then, the prices as of late tells me we're paying for the brand, not the product. I seriously hope Hiya can bake a hell of a humble pie for Bandai when they start doing classic Godzilla.

Can someone remind me when in the Kong's ass did Goji have this color on 2019? I thought this was meant to replicate how Goji would look in those vibrant Hong Kong lights, aka GVK. Granted, Hiya also screwed up with their supposed GVK heat ray using KOTM sculpt, but I suppose some GVK shot was reusing KOTM model, and both got heat ray scene. Albeit the "shoot to the heavens" scene only exist in KOTM. However in this night color, KOTM got no vibrant night battles, only dark and sorta dusty.
