Wow. You have demonstrated to me, a new tambour/luneville sewer, more than you realise. I had recognised the similarities of crochet to this work but because of the hook I had assumed that it could not work through fabric without getting hooked up. I am so inspired and have Subscribed and am off to see all your tutorials. Wonderful. Thank You.

Thank you for this! I would love to do this for myself to put on handmade corsets, dresses, and handbags. Not to sell, as it's too laborious, but I would love to do this for myself.

It looks to me like tambour would be much faster then crocheting by hand ... with beads especially.

I was just wondering why didnt you use a bigger hook for the illistration?? Would have been easier to see.
