I remember hearing this song for the first time while getting my first tattoo, the tattoo artist was very friendly and listening to this song we discussed about how good is tame impala. This was only a few weeks after a heart aching breakup, and it was the start of a really cool period in my life, in which I connected more to myself and developed and embraced my individuality.

I listen to borderline at least 10 times a day. By far my favourite song of theirs

I was in a long on and off overwhelming (in both good and bad ways)relationship with a girl who had borderline personality disorder... and last year just before everything ended between us this song came out... it felt like a message personally made for me.
