Every time I play this song by Fleetwood Mac I have to play it twice. One night I played it for my girlfriend for the first time and she asked me to play it twice. It's such a great song.
@@zasdfghbjk8066 hello? are you pretending or something? I literally said ''except for live shows'' he can play every instrument and he records every instrument himself, it's his recording project, tame impala isn't technically a band, it's just one guy
@@zasdfghbjk8066 dude but he's not recording them all at the same time, he lays down the rhytm tract first and then records rest You literally fucking google this shit, clearly we both have a fucking internet.
How old are you talking? This sounds like somewhere between Lonerism and Currents. For me, the old Tame Impala vibe is Innerspeaker and beforehand (and maybe Melody's Echo Chamber).
They go into the Fleetwood Mac deep-cut vault for this one. Kudos, I say. I've never heard the original. The cover sounds vaguely Beatlesque w/ perhaps a whiff of Flaming Lips who themselves are mired thick in the Beatles mythic gravy. Animation hearkens back to 1970's student films shown on garage doors late, after bedtimes, summer streets, suburban nights. You know the drill. ;}
At the end of the video, when everyone else is running from the car on fire there is a woman with a child in tow straining through the crowd, approaching the chaos. Did anyone else notice that?
No. I didn't know what I was doing. I was playing around (obviously) and it was just stuff I had on my computer. If you look at the channel it's just me doing badly what David Dean Burkhart does so effortlessly well.
I could never get into Fleetwood Mac but when Tame Impala covers one of their songs of course it's love at first sound. Great visuals! So dreamlike and spot on with the overall vibe of the song.
Sorry to say but I think this is devolving a song. Fleetwood Mac's original sounded like it was influenced by the sixties but made it modern. This is taking it back to where it didn't need to go. I came here cos I was curious but that's all for this!!
