Tame squirrel, man's best friend 

Thats not true...I raised 4 squirrels from birth before and they all come with their own personality....At this moment I have a female eastern gray squirrel since birth also...now she is 2 months and is very scared of my kids or anything...and I take really good care of her...give her lots love everything, I even took out a license to have her and be able to take her to the vet like any other exotic pet animal out there....

I have pet squirrels and they are my best buddies ❤️🐿

@@sohailmethani1058 haha its quite easy tbh..just give them nuts and don't make many sudden movements. if you get up it will scare them because you are taller than them. just be calm and be low. and also...it takes A LOT of time. not just a week. trust me, for me it took 1 yr and still some squirrels are a bit scared. it also depends on the squirrel. some earn your trust faster than others. but the end result is WORTH IT! little squirrel friends are the best buddies XD

Squirrel mania. Most underrated rodent. I ran out of my squirrel Pete's supply of mixed nuts. He love pecan pie pieces with p.butter on top. How do you get them to drink water. I put out a jar lid with water. Thanks squirrel officiants

@@davidrudd6524 Your'e so right. Squirrels love peanut butter. Every day I put out a dish that contains peanuts or peanut chips and a large gob of peanut butter. In case you want to know they also love pretzels covered with yogurt and love love love banana chips. As for getting them to drink water. No problem. Put a 'weighted' dish, such as a Pyrex baking dish, filled with cold water almost beside where they eat and when the weather is really hot you'll see how much they appreciate it.

@@davidrudd6524 I laughed when you said Pete eats better than you do. I know exactly what you mean. My house backyard backs onto a ravine. During the day it's the grey, black and red squirrels that get fed along with the rabbits, and at night the family of opossums that live under my deck get fed along with the raccoons, which I feed by hand. This year we have a baby BLACK raccoon which I never saw in my life before. What a treat. People have no idea what they're missing until you start to interact with wildlife and realize just how intelligent they are how much enjoyment they can add to your life.

@@davidrudd6524 I put out those little clear plastic tubs that you buy Delmonte type peaches and fruit treats in as then they can see it and it works. I put 3 around the garden and refill a few times daily.

Luke Irvine You did not understand the dogs behavior. Dog build packs with humans and in the pack every dog hunts even if you would not feed your he would probably hunt it by himself and share it with you.

What century are you living in. Dogs just sit in people's yards occasionally going for walks and waiting to be fed (such smart animals). Wild dog's want nothing to do with human's they hunt in their own pack's with their own kind. At least this squirrel can freely roam and CHOOSES to come back to this man. Truly a man's best friend.

Actually no. Life in captivity is ideal. Animals are about survival.

When we first moved into our house, we had a bluejay that was like that. It would come by when either my wife or me was sitting on the patio and eat from and sit on our hands. I used to hold on to the peanut and it would wrestle me for it - it looked like both me and the bird got a big kick out that. Like having a cool pet without the overhead.
