Yeah agreed, it's a great car and the driver clearly has skills. But a good driver also needs to recognise the time and place to drive this way, which he did not. Way too agressive and dangerous for it not being a track day.
@@karolmaciejewski340 BMW even treats the M Cars lesser. Same engine & coupe design but will nerf the horsepower so people spend more money for the 4 🤷♀️
100%. Almost rear ended me entering the small carrousel in a lap with 3 yellow flags, and soo much traffic. Yes I was on the left, yes this BMW is much faster than the car I was driving, yes I could also have been much faster than what I was going, but there was just traffic. He was sniffing me rear SO closely that when I had to go a little bit more on the brakes than expected due to the traffic in front he almost rear ended me... I just heard his tires squealing...
And I was just behind @GreatMotors being pushed like crazy while I had 3 cars in line which I wanted to overtake myself. He gets so insanely close to you that suddenly you’re more worried looking at your mirrors than looking ahead. The guy is very fast, his car is insanely fast, still drives like an idiot on TF.
@@GreatMotors completely irresponsible, not even suitable for a trackday in my opinion, the only event you can really drive like this is a fucking race, otherwise you have to look after the others a bit, thats what this whole racetrack experience for us "private guys" lives from
Agreed. He's going to have huge accident sooner or later. And hopefully not injure or kill anyone else. Good driver for sure but Misha would never drive like this. Way too much speed when there is literal tourists on the track(road).
Nice drive and its clear you do know what you're doing, but... Bit aggressive for TF there imo, and the left blinker on constantly just does nothing, except maybe annoy some "noob" who might stay left a bit longer just because of it. 9/10.
Driving style is a bit too risky for my taste. Quite close to the BMWs at exit Foxhole, Wehrseifen. The suspension is a little hard for the bumpy parts of the Nordschleife, exit miss-hit-miss or entry Hatzenbach.
Are yiuu dumb.. which track car doesn't have really hard suspension. No racer drives with soft suspension 😂. Gt3rs and mclearan are worse. A driver has to feel every bump and bit on the road. Has to feel like steering and everything possible. Drivers don't drive with just eyes and ears they mostly drive through feel amd knowing your car. Knowing how to adjust what to adjust and what to expect.
Extremely Fast but looks a bit boring in comparison to other cars on the channel to be honest. I would rather drive a car that has some more character and is a little bit more involving, even if it’s a lot slower. Give me an e46 m3 with tuned airbox and exhaust over this any day.
This guy is the reason the Nürburgring is becoming unsafe these days... tourist rides are not meant to be used to push people out of your way like it's your personal track day.
Different drivers and driving styles. It's like Max Verstappen going rental karting, ofc he's going to dominate the track and "push" everyone out his way to be quick. This dude has a fast car and his driving is aggressive, he also won't baby his car and go slow. He has a full on roll cage and a track built car, ofc he will be pushing it. As for the driving style, that's on him.
@@AlpacaTypes the point is that on TF days not everyone has a full roll cage and track built car, you might rear end someone and be fine but end up killing them
@@Scotty-vs4lf That's on him, not me. That's what happens when you stick a bunch of randoms on the track, one is a better driver than the other, one is more brave than the other and brakes later. They could split the TF into levels: Beginner (Slow pace), Intermediate, and experienced driver where the track is hot.
@@chrisparker1267 Yes, but this is no Time Attack. This guy drives completely flat out balls to the wall while expecting everybody else to react 100% accordingly all the time. There are people driving probably their first time ever on track
@@andreknudsne7648no it’s not, on TF is a PUBLIC road, and same rules as on the public road, that means NO aggressive driving. You want to race, join a team ffs.
@@andreknudsne7648 It's a public road, genius. You have rules there. One of them is not to drive like an absolute dumbarse and nearly rear ending others. In my honest opinion this guy floors it way to hard on a busy day like this. No error margin for him or other drivers.
So disrespectful to stick people like this while they are passing other cars during TF… let them pass the car and then go when it’s free in front of you! Nice video anyway!
Everybody complaining here about his aggressive driving style, yes he's aggressive but he's fair and sticks to the rules. Last time I was on the Ring some morons in a slow-ass Clio blocked the fast lane and almost caused a double crash because he thought he was faster than some 300+ bhp cars... it's always something, this guy knows the limits of the car and drives accordingly, which is OK in my opinion. It will never be 100% "safe". If you want that? Stay home please.
I actually really liked this! The guy can clearly drive, but even more so, credit where it is due to BMW. It stayed planted pretty much the whole lap despite him pushing the boundaries. It shows how capable the G8X platform is.
Thanks for taking us along on this ride Misha. guy is an animal. shows how much you respect the cars you drive. I would drive the same, it it was my ride.
@@xcbiker2 No, YOU missed my point. He drives like an absolute maniac and looks in total control. Would changing the driving position do him any good? Maybe. But it seemed like he was already at his absolute limit and he looked super comfortable and relaxed doing some craaaazy maneuvers and trusting the public drivers waaaay too much 😅
It was comforting snd misha was comfortable. He's not like you b**ches😂. I would drive with him any day over those non drivers who decide to come to a RACETRACK to cruise like WTF. some of these mf calling it a public road.😂. This used to host f1 and stillhost gt racing and hypercar racing
SSSC can frickin drive! The new M2s are little monsters. IDK Misha, you’ve grown your channel driving other people’s cars, but an actual build (M2, GR) that you do your aero and partner companies for suspension, brakes & engine that becomes your “official” car with occasional rides could be very cool. As long as you don’t charge it isn’t a Ring Taxi right?
The way that car turns in and grips mid corner is mental, rapid pace. Definitely too close and aggressive around others for TF, most of them it may be there first time and in very normal cars
@@autoboss1269 i agree, its one thing to accept the personal risk of going 95% on TF, but the other drivers are also at risk. obviously this guy is a pretty good driver, but all it takes is one person doing something stupid and there would be a major crash. skills cant beat dumb drivers and physics
Yeah, he will either kill himself on the ring or somebody else. Go to trackdays if you want to be this aggressive on a circuit. You might be very good, but at some point someone less experienced or with less awareness will cause an issue.
no no, simply do not go to a track if you're not taking it seriously or if you don't know your car... Most people on TF are literally driving one handed while filming with their phone for social media, laughing the whole time... If people took it at least a little serious, there would be much less frustrated drivers, stuck behind slow Sunday drivers and therefore way less accidents.
@Zlaterrr alot of mistakes too keen on the throttle on exit causing rear to slide avoided curbs like the plague I beg to differ a was very aggressive with his steering inputs a racing driver should look boring
For those considering this drive as unsafe, few things i belive: -He does not rely on others reactions and driving -He uses all the space available -and definetly has left room for error, you just do not see it -if you were feeling unsafe with him passing by, thats on you
After watching this video, I will never go for a tourist ride on Nordschleife. Driving 240 kph on that narrow and slopey track, overtaking other drivers. What is the chance some driver like this rams you from the rear, after something slightly goes wrong with his car.
after the plaid s video, every car feels slow on the speedo, imagine when battery tech becomes light and capable enough... This guy drives dangerously, on an empty track its okay, but imagine if somebody switch lanes without looking into the mirrors...
Thats the first BMW ive seen in a long time thats actually stunning to look at 😮😮😮 ... My other fav is bmw 635csl . As its my dream car . Theres just something about it that is amazing . It would have to be in blue with cream white coloured leather interior . And be in pristine showroom condition . It really holds a special place in my heart that one does . And as this M2 is sort of special looking its a nice car . Long flared looks and those rear lights are stunning . Even with the cage it looks special . And all the carbon gives it an angry look .
Dont know if the camera made it even closer but there was 3 code 💩💩💩 . Almost looks like he got the butter out to slip the car down the sides of other drivers who were driving much slower with no track awareness 😮😮😮 . 😂😂😂😂 . I even went for the brakes 😂😂😂 !
Misha, are these seat belts made to be used without a HANS device? In a crash with a "normal" racing seat belt your neck will snap even in a small collision. As in will these seat belts let your upper body move forward like a traditional 3-point?
Just curious - isn't the driver sitting much too far from the steering wheel? As I have seen in Misha's video and other proper race drivers- steering wheel usually is much closer to the driver.
I don’t but I saw it. And that is the general consensus. Not sure why they weren’t wearing them. Super easy to slip on and well worth it. I think they had to wear helmets because there is a cage in there. Otherwise they would have opted for no helmet. Perhaps there are rules about hans devices on public days.
He's the reason people don't want to drive on TF, literally endangering himself and everyone around him with that kind of driving. Get a license and start racing, no need for ego tripping on a public sessions like this.
