I remember the good old days when the focus RS was considered too powerful for the fwd, with like 300hp 😛

It was his oil temps. Everytime it hit 127 degrees it went into limp mode. Increase the temperature threshold

New ring content about everyday. The passengers faces and reactions are so funny, and Misha relaxed and chill, basically test runs and diagnostics.

I had to rewatch the start of te lap. That was fun to watch how it pulled away from the other cars

This is quite a handful on track, but for street and Mexico activities I bet this thing is a riot to drive. Props to the owner for building something like this but I’d be curious to see an awd conversion of this and what it could do with all the traction.

Was fun to watch, but I think it's not going overboard to say stock power with all the suspension mods would have made for a better (subjective) track experience, and probably not a slower laptime either.

That was a great watch. Hats off to the owner for having the balls to go that far with that car and getting to experience it on there with Misha driving. When i did a taxi lap in the GT2 rs with Moritz a couple of years back it was doing just over 170mph through that section so good going. Good to see you're doing well Misha👍

Oil pressure switch became faulty both times at 127°C. Seems to me like that temperature affects oil pressure and then you get warning. Also seems like you should have done your service prior to race event.(oil service interval 500miles notification)

For those of you, like me, who had never heard of Cupra before and were interested in this car but frustrated that there's no details given in the video or the description, I did a little research and this appears to be a 2014 or 2015 León Cupra 280 with the optional Sub8 Performance pack made by SEAT. That should be enough info for you to get anything else you want to know out of Google. Great video. Loved the poor owner's face during the drive. He was clearly (and rightly) terrified at some parts of the ride but fighting hard to not let it show. I hope he goes through with the Haldex conversion and gets his few remaining bugs worked out as I think that would make this car an absolute ring beast. 👍

I've watch quite a few of these videos and THIS one is the only one i've seen where the owner looks like he's having a blast. Both are laughing and enjoying the ride.

I've only got the pd160 version but I don't think many people realise just how planted they feel when going around corners, well before you add another 500 bhp to them anyway, there's probably a reason there's less than 130 left on the road in the UK. Looked more like a oil temp limit in the tune, every time you hit 126C it hit limp mode. Awesome drive though and sure to put a smile on anyone's face.
