Nice video and snake! I just got started with baby ball pythons last month. Currently have 5 at home and 2 on the way. Thankfully, mine are not nippy. My candino female doesn’t care for being held tho. 😅
Thanks for stopping by. I just subscribed to your channel so I can take your journey with you. It’s always nice to see new faces on RU-vid. Keep those update videos coming! I sincerely appreciate your kind words.
Awesome new addition to get the family I hope you keep us updated on your process of taming her and her process with it. Bulls and milks are the species I've been looking at lately and actually commented about on a video a couple days ago I found 2 listing for black milks but 1 is for $500 and the other for $750 I can't find to much info on pricing does that sound about ball park, price wise? Great video, keep them coming 👍🏼
$750 is a bit much in my opinion. $400 -$500 is reasonable. They have really become popular in the past few years. I paid $300 and $350 for my Black Milks. When I breed I’ll probably price at $400 if the demand is still hot like it is. I’d pass on the $750 and wait it out unless you feel it’s worth it to not wait. Only you can decide that. And if you do, then just enjoy your snake. It’s still less than an Indigo ✌️ Updates will definitely be coming on the Bull. Thank you.
This is a late comment, but do you have any advice for a returning Bull Snake? I have a (rough estimate) 2-3 year old Bull Snake that likes to hang around my house, and which I have found inside my house once before, immediately inside the doorframe. I just found him inside a second time, but would like to keep him around the yard to ward off mice. I have no clue how he's getting in, and have inspected the whole house for holes. Do you have any ideas for deterring him from getting inside the house while still letting him live in the immediate area? Thanks.
That’s a fun puzzle for sure. Though Bulls CAN climb, they aren’t as adept as Rat Snakes- so I doubt it is coming from up high. If you can rent a thermal gun, take a stroll around your house and look for escaping cool air. You might be surprised by what you find- and then be able to insulate that hole and save some money. It doesn’t take a big hole at all. Garage, foundation, windows- a thermal gun is your best bet. Keep me posted, please. I would love to know what you find.
I'm trying to choose between a bullsnake and a corn snake. Do you have any insight on these 2 species? I really like the size of the bullsnake, and I don't mind their defensive display, it's endearing. If you have/know any adult male corn snakes, how big do they get? I'm not really interested in anything under 4 feet. As I know I would want to handle my snake a lot, a more robust species that isn't prone to becoming overly stressed.
Based on your preferences, Bull all the way. I love them! I’m also a HUGE Corn fan, but Pituophis have my heart. My 2 Stillwater Bulls are sweethearts.
@@ClearBrookExotics Aw sweet, thank you! See, I figured based on my research but I always think no amount of research can beat hands on learning so I really love asking people who have direct experience. Really appreciate your input
This is what is called a quarantine enclosure. New animals should always be quarantined to check for mites, inspect poop, etc. It’s standard practice for experienced keepers.
