If you are looking for a Hatsan Bullboss .25 cal fully set up ready to go, I have one with a boatload of pellets and slugs, VT-1 Discovery scope 4.5-18x44 AOE Accu-Tac SR-5 style bipods Donny FL Ronin moderator and adapter, sling, hard case, and everything that came with the gun like seals plus extras, degassing tool, plus the long allen-wrench needed for hammer spring adjusting and tuning. Gun was bought July 19, 2019, and has had no issues and only about 500 pellets shot out of it. To much power for my backyard, so I'm staying with my .22 caliber airguns. If you're interested you can reach me at 724-317-4021 I have a bunch of pictures of it on my cell phone and haven't a clue how to put them on a laptop, but do know how to send them with my phone. My email address if you would need it is heathhalfhill66@gmail.com and I'm in southwestern Pennsylvania. My Liberty's are a lot more backyard friendly than a .25 caliber and with my LCS SK-19 in .22 caliber, of course, coming this Thursday, I'm going to need more room for another gun. I have it posted on two airgun classifieds and they all have an instruction as I gave here for pictures. I also have a new Liberty in wood.22 coming this Thursday from ATI as well as the SK-19 so you could say Thursday is going to be a very busy day for me. My first Liberty in wood stock developed a leak. Sadly, I could not find it to fix it without totally submerging the gun underwater. I didn't want to do that since it still has 5 months left on the factory warranty so I opted to return for a replacement. I filled it to 3800 psi and 3 days later it was on 0, so I filled it back up and found out it was leaking about 1200 psi every 24 hours. Anyway, the polygonal barrel on the SK-19 is showing some very tight groups at 50 Yards and with the adjustability, shot count, power, and quick followup shots being Semi/Full auto, which I don't plan on using Fullauto much really but is cool and is definitely a fun factor...Semi-automatic, polygonal barrel, 19 rounds, stainless steel, titanium, and the fact this gun is made here in the states sold me from the get-go. This is my very first so-called "High-end gun"...I bought it from BlueRidge Airguns, a very good guy and is all about airguns with a very nice selection of high-end air guns. I would love to have time to bring it down to Florida and lay the smackdown on some iguanas with you but I doubt that will happen any time soon...just don't have that much time, a lot going on right now with my service dog, just found out he's diabetic and very sick with some other issues...he's 9 years old and awesome. He'll be alright. I am very lucky to have a good Dr for him. I hope I find time to shot these new guns here soon. Ultimately my boy-o comes first and It's cold and snowing outside today and it is looking not to good for Thursday either...can't wait for warmer weather. Awesome video as usual. Lovin that Liberty and liberating those iguanas from the area with force. Take care Erlis...keep rocking that Liberty man she's Awesome just like your shooting. When are we gonna see the new JSR Raptor or has it not shipped out to you yet?
Hi Heath Halfill, Thanks for taking the time to write this comment, I'll try my best to answer your questions. First I'm not looking for a new gun at the time because as you already know I ordered the Raptor, but what I can do is to pin this message to see if any viewer is interested on your Hatsan BullBoss, you just let me know if you want me to unpin it at any time. It's sad to know your dog has diabetes, I guess you will have to take good care of him but with care he should be fine! I got a message from JSAR and they told me the gun should be here in December, so I'm still waiting and we will see if that's true, I'm really needing it!
@@OriOnTheIguanaHunter Thank you for your concern for my little buddy. He is going to be staying at the Veterinarians for a few days from what I know at this moment. He is by no means out of the woods yet. But I think he is in good hands and he will be ok in the end. as far as pinning my Bullboss...Thank you...much appreciated. I'm not very good with all this technology and the fact that I can use a cell phone is amazing but I am learning. I very much look forward to you getting your Raptor. You are in good hands with your Liberty though. She looked impressive smacking the daylights out of those iguanas. Nice shooting. I really do enjoy shooting mine and I think everyone who has one is very lucky. 5-10 years ago these air guns would have been all the rave-like the Impact is now. We could still be shooting break barrels and pump guns..lol. I am grateful to have them and thankful they are as accurate and filled with the features they have at the price point that we got them for. These guns have opened the door for a lot of new PCP owners and have contributed to pest control all over the world and air gunning in general. The Gauntlet seems to have taken the official title for that one only because of advertising but the truth is...My Liberty's will outshoot my Gauntlet and are much more versatile, lighter in weight, more powerful, but do share the same great magazine which is nice. Thanks for the reply and help. Take care and safe shooting.
@@chrispierce2942 i gifted it to my youngest son. He installed a regulator for 60$ and is shooting the daylights out of it apparently because he stops by about every 2 days for me to fill up his 6.8 ltr tank. My Avenger will be here any day in .25 cal.
Thanks Steve. On this video I saw bunch of close range iguanas and the Discovery can focus up to 10 yards...result is great close range huge iguanas on screen footage.... Waiting on Keith to see why the eagle is me favorite
More improvement! This is starting to feel like a pro hunting show now. Your production values continue to improve my friend, well done. Love the Liberty for this, especially the close range stuff. The Hatsan was on my short list for a 2nd gun.... glad to see that out and smacking Iguanas too. Thanks for the post.
Man, the footage is crystal clear! The slow mo @ 7:34 is my absolute favourite, they should publish this one in a magazine 👏 Great work, Erlis! And thank you so much for posting a link to my channel, friend, I really appreciate it 😊🍻
Air Rifle Activities Alex my friend! Yes that footage of that iguana was great! Maybe it won’t be on a magazine but it made it to my video thumbnail. It’s my pleasure to promote your channel my friend! Your work is excellent!!
Thanks Haji, I'm happy you are enjoining! The next one is going to be something a bit different and I just noticed the scope cam was not as good as this one but I think I can get a nice story out of it!
Casper Boo my friend!! I went out today and had an epic hunt. I was alone with my Liberty but I took the GoPro with me and this next one will be a more immersive video. You will see more footage of me shooting and retrieving iguanas in the water where I almost fall to the water lol. I think it will be an awesome video!
Hi Bubble One. Thanks for the kind words. If you want to talk about a new pcp you can contact me on Instagram or send me an email to orioniguanahunter@gmail.com and I can give you a quick call!
Man, I am glad that the Bullboss is hitting the spot. That gun never let us down. When my son was doing his job with it, it was always a dead iguana. His record with it is a 96m in a tree. 2 shots to adjust the elevation and a dead iguana we had on the 3rd one..... 27-30 shots is what we were getting
Eric!! The gun is great, we just started with the wrong pellets, already people have suggested to clip the tip on those Polymags, but that day got few issues with them. What's the favorite ammo you were shooting with it? I hope to get my mini soon! See you around brother!!
@@OriOnTheIguanaHunter , I have mostly used the JSB 25.4g with it even when hunting. I also used the H&N hunter extreme with an ok result. But now that the Hades .25 are out, you should be looking at them. As they shoot as well as the JSB Diabolo Exact King. The polymags never shot well in the Bullboss
Nice video, I've got a .25 maurader if you want to see how that does vs these iguanas once it warms back up. Just a short drive in Boynton. Also what scope was used in this video was crystal clear...great footage.
Hi Kenneth, I just realized I missed your comment. It will be great to have you on the channel some day, December will impossible because I'll be out of the country. I used the Discovery VT-T 6-24x50 on this video. Good close range footage, but at long range I'm really missing the scope I had on my Taipan, way better image at long range.
Sounds good, hope you enjoy your time traveling and come back safely. I'll have to check that scope out...got another five this Sunday got 2 right through the eye and dropped them.
Thanks Shane! I think I've found the right setting, although I'm happy with the images on the last video (the one I'm editing now) I'm missing my top tier scope
Great video. I did think the Hatsan was a little loud for me. But then I didn’t know what the volume of the camera mic was set. Getting better all the time.
What caliber is Tyler's bullboss? And where did he get magazine holder? I have the .22 bullboss, but wood stock. Extremely accurate with H+N baracuda hunter and baracuda power. 18 gr jsb shoot like crap! LOVE your videos!
Try taking a finger nail clipper and clipping the ends off the polymags so they work better in the hatsan magazine. Crow magnums always fit perfectly when i had my at44....
I have not done the math yet . " I do have the formula " But my black powder experience tells me that the twist rates on these pellet rifles are far faster than needed . If a barrel used a taper bore gain twist with a final twist of 1 in 73 would be far more gentle on the pellets resulting in less flyers and higher velocity . But it also seems at many times my previous experience in years of bpc seem almost useless ,as you have proven 2 or three times . Oh if you remember I commented on penetration . saying I did not want expansion . I have a theory ' My pellet rifle was AT 650 FPS . At such low power an expanding slug couldn't find the muscle to push an expanded pellet .
Hi huck! There are different barrels with different twist rates and I don't think there's a problem with that. To me the big issue is that nowadays everyone is searching for more power and with the new guns we have today we are more than capable to achieve great speeds, and I think this the reason we are seeing some changes on twist rates recently but no matter what twist rate we have, a diabolo pellet design will behave way different than a bullet (slug) design when pushed too fast. If you go supersonic the diabolo will do terrible because it will destabilize a lot. The diabolo shape is designed to it self stabilize in flight but what happens when you push them too hard is that you get a centrifuge force pushing the pellet to the sides while it tries to stabilize and this what creates spirals. So to me the problem with accuracy is more a matter of speed than twist rates. But again let me clarify, if you are shooting diabolo pellets it's one thing, if you are shooting slugs, then it's a completely different story, almost the inverse of what you need for pellets. That's why having a gun that shoot both well at the same time is very hard to achieve. Thank for the comment! I love the subject!
@@OriOnTheIguanaHunter I noticed In black powder coming out of super sonic will cause a bullet to wobble and destabilize . 850 - 900 ft per second is the most accurate . 1100 - 1300 is real bad because of coming in and out of the sound barrier to fast
bobby lee. ( predator air power) out here in hawaii. wow we dont have iguanas but we have alot of chicken . cant wait to hunt with my new liberty aloha. bro.
Hatsan guns have power, I would love to come down there with you and take some out with my 25 cal Flashpup, but I don't know if that's happening any time soon, it's a good 10-12 hour drive. Great show as always, I like Tyler, he has good taste in guns, lol.
@@OriOnTheIguanaHunter Ok, so you have good taste, lol. I like 'em because they're powerful and easy to work on, but then again, I've only worked on a few so just my experience.
Phillip Mendiola Hi buddy, I’m happy I’m able to deliver something decent right now and seeing people like you that really enjoy it. It took me long time testing here and there to get these results....well just hope to keep getting better.
Hey buddy. Just got a new 25 cal. I preordered many, many months ago. It is the Hatsan Neutron Star. 25.39 JSB at 870. Not backyard friendly, until I put a Donnyfl Emperor V3 on it. Beautiful rifle. Nice wood. Carbon fiber bottle, lighter than Nova Star.
@@OriOnTheIguanaHunter IWA show RU-vid video Hatsan booth. NOVA STAR. I preordered 9 months ago. Now name is Neutron Star. A beautiful rifle similar look of FX Crown for half the price!
Marco can you share a link to the product you are recommending? I have a Primo tripod stick but for the video it moves a lot, I've seen other tripods where you can lock the rifle and I think that will be better option
Awesome video my friend as always love the nova making quick work on those iguanas ...Tyler you got a nice Hatsan bull boss ..busting up them heads with it nice power great video thanks for sharing also thanks for the shout out I told my son playing around that the man on the TV was gonna say his name 😂 and you said Chris Figueroa my son said wow dad he said my name lol thanks buddy 👍
@@OriOnTheIguanaHunterYou are welcome my friend this is my favorite channel I started watching this channel like about a year and a half ago before I even own a airgun ...now I have two pcp airguns that are awesome brother
That gun is doing great, we just need to do another one, that day we added scope right there and tried the Polymags and got some jams but were able to put some down!!
Chris Z sure! I’m using the Eagle Vision the one with 75% of the light goes to the camera. This is what makes huge difference, I was using the sideshot before but I was getting really grainy videos. GoPro also helps to get this video quality!
can you get me some info on the procedure I need to do in order to bring air rifles across the state lines into florida, and also join you on a hunt ???
cazador1022 no I haven’t used those slugs yet. I don’t have a gun that shoot slugs, well ..... the Liberty can shoot slugs but I don’t think it’s the best for it. When I get my Raptor mini, that will have a Slug barrel and I’m pretty sure I’ll test those at some point
Good video brother. Always enjoy it. I have a bull boss myself. Dead accurate rifle. He needs to try the polymag shorts. Or or with the ones he's using as he put them in the clip just take a nail clipper And clip off the tip very so lightly. Just so it's not protruding out of the clip. Just food for thought. I don't know if his boss has a regulator ... but if it doesn't. Definitely need to put one in it. From New Mexico stay blessed and Shoot Straight.👍🇺🇸✌
I didn't even notice it. I was too busy looking at the clip holder he has. The black and red thing. Nice piece. That's exactly where I put my Huma metal decal at.
I have a question , do the pellets penetrate the iguanas head , or bounce off on head shots ? I would think that that they would , but wonder if the iguanas head is too hard . Thanks for the videos !!!
Typically the pellet will penetrate the iguana head, but sometimes if you hit at an angle I've seen pellets bouncing and not going in, similarly to a helmet design that depending on the angle it can bounce off! Exactly like that!
will it work with my bushnell 4500 scope the lens you look through has a size of 38.1 MM and the scope tube is 30mm the objective lens is 50mm and also what gopro should I use?
On that video I'm using a Discovery VT-T 6-24x50 FFP scope, it's very good for the price. But I'm not using that scope that much nowadays, if you see some of my most recent videos you will see I upgraded the glass and now I'm using a Tract Toric 4-20x50 FFP
If it's a 22? I am shooting my bullboss 18.13jsb at 910fps 37 shots consistent a with Huma regulator and a tune hammer spring. 100 yard shots on an average of 1.1/2inch. 50 yards sometimes less than half an inch. Of course not on a windy day. LOL👍🇺🇸✌ it's basically a German button steel barrel. The same as a Walter lother but without the name and that's the way it comes.
@@OriOnTheIguanaHunter Yes sir...they are more accurate than the Crow Mags and mushroom equally if not better than the Crow Mags. I found over penetration to be an issue with the hunter Extremes and they don't expand as advertised unless you shoot them into harder clay at 950+ fps. I wish I had a way to show you all the pellet tests I did with my Liberty's shooting into Dollar Tree Play-Doe for kids. I have a ton of pictures on my cell phone from the tests but have no clue how to get them on my laptop which is about 15 years old. The expansion is excellent on the hunters and accuracy is very good in my Liberty's as well. Thank you for the reply back Happy hunting my brother.
@@OriOnTheIguanaHunter Yes, I saw it before. It was one of your earlier videos. I tested around 20 common hunting pellets and have all the data on my phone recorded in pictures. I will see if I can figure out how to send them to you, but really, your going to have a difficult time finding a better pellet for hunting than the Barracuda Hunter. They are a very good hunting pellet and give excellent results downrange. I shot my new LCS SK-19 last night and it loves the Daisy Hollow Points also. It did just as good with the hunters. At closer ranges, I will stick with the Daisys for effectiveness but at longer ranges, I will take the hunter for the extra weight. This gun put a magazine of 19 in 1 hole at 47 yards at 975 fps. I knew the polygonal barrel was going to be a little special but WOW...I am amazed. I tried it in full auto, and... well...keeping a tight group on full auto is going to take some serious practice because I was all over the target shooting off bipods, but still a very cool experience. TTYL
What's wrong with Tyler? He looks like a fine guest. I have had a 25 caliber bullboss for about 2 years now and I love it. 50 yards is easy for that gun.
Im very aware of the environment. Those cars are really far away. The scope makes it look like they are closer they are around 200 yards. Also I'm shooting from prone proyectil will travel close to the ground and not travel that far. That's why I never shoot to the trees. Thanks for the comment!
If you want to try another pellet that has crazy expansion like the H&N Barracuda Hunters...Try a tin of Daisy 15.4 Grain Hollow Points from Amazon for 7$ for 500. In my Liberty's they hold a 1" group at 50 yards and expand to the size of a sweet pea on impact. They used to be made in China and ere of very low quality, which is why I believe they are not that popular today now that they are made in Spain and the Quality is spot on...these have become my GO-TO PELLETS. Are they as accurate at 50 as a JSB 18.13 grain pellet NO they are not BUT they ARE pretty darn close in my guns when it comes to pesting and targets? I will put mine on low power which is 825-850 FPS and stack these pellets...Yes, when pushing them closer to 1000+ FPS the group does open up a little but not enough at that distance to deter me from a very lethal kill shot. I hope you give them a try because I believe I have found a forgotten GEM. They shoot flatter than a heavier pellet and are as soft as a JSB and nothing like the pig iron pellets Crosman makes. They only give me about 35 FPE at the muzzle on High Power but when an English Sparrow gets in front of them...OMG...they explode and pieces fly everywhere...I swear to the all mighty, it sounds like they exploded! Just get a tin if you want to have some cheap fun and enjoy. We go through anywhere from 500-2000 a week here depending on the weather. Amazon has to be loosing money on the shipping cause pellets arent light weight postage... Have fun ...OH YEAH, MY SK-19 IS HERE, Just signed for it...OMG is it NICE, AND I WILL SEE HOW IT LIKES MY DAISY HPs very soon.
I'm not trying to be a bummer but what about safety, I saw car's moving in the background I also so houses in the background, what about people? What if a pellet ricocheted and hit someone's car, or hit someone, am just saying (safety) then the video.
Hi Dexter, thanks for the comment because it is really important your concern. I do take safety really serious, specially that as you already noticed I'm shooting in an urban area. Those cars you see are far from where I'm shooting, I keep at least 100 yards from the street and I'm aiming low so no way a pellet can get to a car. I never ever shoot at the iguanas on the tree because I don't know that pellet where it can land. The people on the HOA know that I'm shooting there and again I'm very careful with every shoot. On my next video I'll see if I can film with my camera the canal so you can get an idea where the cars are. I noticed that with the scope they appear to be much more closer, but I guess that's what the scope does, show stuff closer! Again, thanks for the comment, I think safety is one of the most important part of our sport. Best regards!
Finally someone shooting my gun. Love it and hate it. Mags and double feeds are my only dislike. I have 10 mags and removed all the crappy casting flashing's but still 3 of 10 fail to rotate. Still better than my BJ Marauder mags and gun but can only expect so much for a $500 PCP i guess.
Hi buddy! I did a video where I fix the magazines, I was having problems too! You said $500 PCP, I paid $320 for mine... then the price went up for the wood stock to 350$ With the difference you can still buy a scope ;)
@@OriOnTheIguanaHunter I bought mine about 2yo ago and it was $380 but just about anywhere i look now they are $450-500. I looked for your video on fixing the mage but couldn't find it unfortunately. Happen to have a link to it> Love the channel so i'll keep watching.
It's funny, if not related... the ad that came up on your video was for Orion pest control in Fort Lauderdale. If it is your company, sucks to be paying for your own videos :-)
I would bring my Hatsan nova,22 cal, gamo urban 22, cal, and maybe my Hatsan flash 177 cal. I think these rifles will get the job done. My ammo will be the terminators, polymags, hornets, and 22 cal slugs. Look forward to hunting some iguanas, pythons, hogs, you name it (lol)
