It seems you guys wanted to see me build this Tamiya 1:35 scale DKW NZ350 and you had those puppydog eyes and I just couldn’t say no… So here I have assembled this bike.
I don’t think you can buy this model by itself. It comes with the Tamiya King Tiger Ardennes Front kit. If you want to see me build the king tiger you can watch this video: • Tamiya 1:35 scale King...
The bike is pretty good. Eventually I’ll paint it… one day…

wheely tube frame things that connect to upper and lower to rear wheel are called seat-stays and chain-stays. Steering tube is held by down tube and top tube.

Its actually quite an accurate depiction on a NZ350 1938 to 1943 version. The only thing that is wrong on it is the 50s style handlebars; the NZ ones are much lower.

Awesome Herbert. This is my favourite motocycle of all time, in real life that is =) I myself have two different kits of this bike at home waiting to be built and maybe will have the real thing one day :)

I don't know anything about bikes, but I assume this kind is rare now. It certainly looks more interesting than the kind of bikes I see on the road.

I own the real DKW NZ350/1 motorcycle. This model is pretty accurate considering the scale. ibb.co/nNmCt6 The right cap on the tank is the fuel cap. The left cap LOOKS like a fuel cap, but is actually the ignition switch, and the key is inserted right in the center of it. The detail is lacking at this scale.
