Good luck with the build mate, glad I could be of help, this builds into a lovely model when its all done, just be careful with the star decals as the contours ask a lot from the decals
Cheers mate, same here I'm more a painter than a builder, only thing I don't like with Tamiya is it doesn't very often give me much to say during the building phase, but its always good to just get into the painting
Hey great looking build, I’ve just finished the same myself, done a weather camo, really enjoyed the build, agree with the comments - decals I actually forgot to put them on before weathering 😂, cheers Liam
Thanks mate tbh yours looks good I need to do a winter camo but they are tricky to pull off,I'm worried I'd wreck the kit, reminds me though do need to check on your channel been crazy busy with work, thanks for stopping by mate
Mate winter camo is a nightmare, mean its often whitewashing so its semi transparent, it rubs off washes off,and shows dirt grime and wears more than the paint underneath, ontop of that its white and can look stark and throw shadows off
Nice review my friend! You wouldn't be able to lay down the aerial recognition decal without any decal fluid, even with that, you should use a lot to make it conform. Great job done. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video, any reccomend brands for decal fluid?I have never used the stuff and feel I should get some for decals like this
@@scalestuff1066 give the surface a coat before applying the decal, apply the decal, don't move it around a lot. Don't use pointy tweezers moving it around and finally as it cures pass a cotton swab on top off it to remove any air bubbles trapped under the decal. If the surface is too "uneven" apply multiple layers of it
Pretty sure this one was the son of a librarian, that never wanted her boy to do anything dangerous, the commander looks like his having far to much fun 😂
