Decided to retest the speed on the Tamiya F104 Pro II Formula One today. Achieved 34 mph on my current brushed motor, spur gear, and pinion setup. Going to play around with gears and pinions to see how much I can max out this setup
@@maximumthrottlerc5939Castle 5700KV 3s motor. Castle SW4 ESC. I’m running Gence Ace 3s 4000mah 65c lipo, is the largest battery it can fit on 3s. Tamiya 93T Spur Gear ⚙️ an 36T pinion, my gear ratio is 2:5 to 1 revolutions
@@maximumthrottlerc5939because this is a Crazy setup on this car. To get to these speed territory, really gotta gradually ease in the power to top speed. Under right conditions wide open space and proper throttle management it top speed is 100+. But I have yet to master the skills to reach those numbers before catching air underneath chassis or spinning out and blowing tires
If you do run this setup I will suggest getting a second body for the car because believe me or not it will backflip at the slightest uneven surface or change in win direction at those speeds
