Tamiya Monster Beetle FINALLY Completed 🙃☺️😁! 

Man that's how we had to do it in the old days. When you bought a new RC your journey just started. You had to put them together. I will say them old Tamiya diffs and plastic diff gears used to drive me nuts. 😅

The Tamiya lunchbox was the 1st hobby rc I saw in 1988. I told the man that I'd buy one when I grew up.

Thats what it's all about. Finding a car that speaks to you, and just have fun. Every car doesn't have to go mach 1!! Great video JT and keep them coming!

Tamiya cars are very nice. Not the best bashers but delivers tons of fun. Building them are pure joy as well as driving them 🙂

Nice, the Tamiya RZ 23t super stock motor, with its red anodised end bell would look good. A bit more torque & top end speed, over the silver can motor 👍🏻

You could run something like a 12T Traxxas brushed motor in it. That would give you a good bit of extra umph!

I still have my original 1988 Beetle. Never had the diff issues. Love these Tamiya Monster Beetles

Building a model from a kit has huge advantages. One is when you finish you know the thing like the back of your hand, and if you lose some pieces in a bad crash it's easy to check the manual to find out exactly what you need and where/ how they go together- At least if you're a regular person that doesn't remember every part on every model they own, and not a mechanical savant with a photographic memory😅

The gearbox on them are better then they don't have problems with frog one witch is the same as the monster beetle.

I had the original and sold it so I could go clubbing in my 20's to go clubbling when money was tight. Totally regret it but I am about to put down on the re-release and relive my youth!
