The thundershot was my first ever hobby grade rc. I remember working on it every weekend with my dad for most of the winter. Those were great times…awesome video.

I was never a massive fan of the Thundershot, but by god that one looks utterly gorgeous! Those wing decals that you added have made a big difference, they really just look right. Nice one!!

I have always wanted a Thundershot since I was a kid. I bought a Re-Re earlier this year and its still in the box. I like the dual shocks in the front, I may build mine the same! Great job!

The Thunder shot is my favorite out of the series unless you consider the big wig part of the family. I prefer the car without the wing. This turned out beautifully Glenn

Bodywork looks epic... That wing is perfect..I'd keep it 100% The red stripe on the wing end plate sets it off perfectly!! Nicely done Glenn. Intake decals are great too. Look at me lol.. Been binging your channel after I just built an Avante 2011..With a barely used Technigold motor that I've just put in it... In love with Tamiya all over again after over 30 years without one in the fleet. *EDIT* Love the T shirt... must get a Technigold one!!!

Thunder shot was the first kit I built too back in 1987, it was my Christmas present.

Awesome, this is the 3rd ThunderShot video of yours that I watched.. after watching the first, I really wanted to get one and thankfully, the re-re came out after your 2nd video.. and now I can compare your car against mine while watching this video. Epic!

Love these, was my first proper RC car and i got it in a thrift store for very little because it was not working, iirc the gears were stripped so ordered some of those and got it back running, wish i had kept it actually have no idea where it went as i have all my other RC cars from the 90s. Great video.

Never saw a Thundershot with a wing. Wasn't aware that was even an option. When you first showed it, I wasn't sure about it. Once the decals were on, the lines just flow! Another job well done! That's going to look absolutely splendid in your collection! 😎👍

I'm still making a special edition of the Terra Scorcher 😂, I really should be getting on with it. Lots of hobbies , so it takes time 😁. But loving the chassis so far, lots of aluminium and looking awesome.

Turned out great 👌 i like the rear wing myself, makes it look compleat. And the extra stickers on the wing look factory.

The thought you've put into the wing is great, but it just doesn't sit well with the whole rear end shape of the body, it just looks plonked on. The buggy is beautiful

Superb buggies, the terra scorcher is one of tamiyas best recent re-releases, good value and a good runner. I'm not sure about that wing it's just a bit fussy and could do with the back tilting up ever so slightly. Can't wait to see what you do with the other kit and glad you seem to have the building bug back.

The wing looks great has grown on me over the years great looking buggy but the driver figure colour looks a bit bland ...Happy New year in advance Glenn 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I do have an original wing mount in spare. Drop me a message if you are interested in building a totally original winged thunder shot ;) Raced my Thunder Shot, too, when I was a kid. So I thought the wing is a must. Didn't turn out to be super stable so I replaced it with something 3rd party.

I'd always mask off the air intakes then smoke them or add vynal mesh to the inside.

Could that optional big wing also be mounted a bit higher so that wind goes underneath it like on a associated rc10 buggy with wire mounting......????
