Welcome to my channel and thank you for taking the time to view this video.
This is the Tamiya Rock Socker on Tamiya's answer to a crawler chassis. This awesome model comes as standard with a 540 size motor, a single speed centre gearbox, the ability to choose to have locked / unlocked front & rear axle differentials, front & rear barrel spring, with separate oil shock absorbers, metal chassis rails, four link front and rear chassis links, soft tires and detailed plastic bead lock wheels, the ability to choose to have the optional four wheel steering option, part ball bearing and part metal bearings and a highly detailed polycarbonate body.

I enjoy building the shocks. I used to not care for it but I quite enjoy it now. It is very satisfying to get a full set done and working well!

Hi Addam, thank you for watching and popping by. I’ve kind of come to enjoy the shocks too, even getting to the point of using a dip stick to ensure each shock is filled with the same amount of oil, or am I a bit OCD 🤦🏻‍♂️😂🤦🏻‍♂️best wishes to you and the family 😎😉😎

Interesting John! Not sure I've seen that before when filling the shocks with oil. I like your home made measuring idea...that definitely gives you a way to make sure it's exactly as they want it. Very cool!

Hi Freddy, thank you for watching and popping by. I was going to use a pipette to measure the ml of oil, but thought a dip stick idea was the best option (mind you, I did just go a check the oil on the car). Best wishes to you and the family 😎😉😎

Hi Kev, I hope that you are all keeping well. Thank you for watching. I devised a dip stick method, so that each of the shocks have the same amount of oil, to ensure that they all feel and perform the same, well….thats my thought process 🤔🧐🤔take care, happy Easter to you and the family 😎😉😎
