After an absence of 30 plus years, from the days of 'bashing' my modified Tamiya Hornet with a select number of friends in the local school playground and playing field. I have decided that I was missing the 'Fun' and 'Enjoyment' of this wonderful hobby. I have now been reunited with this fabulous technical hobby and wish to show the younger generation, how superb this great hobby is and how much more fun the various RC vehicles can be.
Interesting looking ESC. It's well packaged...nice presentation. Interesting that they don't install any connectors but then again depending on what you're going to use it for, and your electrical experience, (say no more say no more :)), this is perfect for tinkering with. I'll be very curious to see how you like it John.
I have three of these speed controllers, and I've been quite happy with them. I currently run one in a WPL C24-1, one in an Axial Wraith 2.2 and one in a 10th scale RGT crawler. I love being able to easily program them from my phone, and the fine tuning of the bec is really nice. Being able to push more voltage, without it being too much, like if you can only choose between two setting, is really nice. That functionality really helped my WPL, taking the steering servo from hopelessly weak to fairly decent. Getting the drag brake to work properly can sometimes feel a bit like a dark art. Sometimes it works as it should, other times it's a bit on the weak side, depending on the rig (gearing, weight and so on). I have them connected to 550 motors in my 10th scale rigs, and there's plenty of go, and modulation is quite nice. Really quite a decent speed controller for not too much money. Not something I would use In a comp crawler, but for most other trail and crawler rigs it's plenty good. 😊
That really does look fabulous! I think I might have to get me one of those...too cool! The suspension looks so good in action too...but those wheels...man I love the look of them!
@@BangForYourBuckRc hey Robby, lovely to hear from you….i know right? I’m a real ‘stinker’! But we’ve got the lovely body to reveal, and I’m certain you’re going to love the body …..best wishes to you and the family 😉😎😉🙏

@@HaydadRC hi Jeremy, thank you for watching, I appreciate it my friend. I hope you like the body, it’s going to be a little more louder than I usually do 😉😎😉
Looking good John.... I always thought the chassis was bigger than that, well looked bigger.... It seemed small to your hand or maybe your hand is the size of a sheet of paper... LOL. Great job dude, ATB & carry on, carry on....
Hi thank you for watching and commenting. This beautiful model is available from your local Tamiya stockist. The main truck is kit reference 56323, trailer is no longer available, but could use kit reference 56319, 56306 56310 or 56333. MFC unit is kit reference 56523. It’s a great model to build. Best wishes 😉
Hey Al, thank you for your message, sorry, been limiting my YT a touch, due to it been addictive. Thank you for watching and your support, mill be catching up on some of your latest YT releases very soon. Now…..colour scheme…..it’s not going to be red, but…it will complement red. It’s going to be….well, a bit more leery, than I normally do 😎😉🤗best wishes to you and the family 😎😉😊
Thanks for the overview! Ordered mine, should be coming Saturday. Will use it initially for the 3dsets Rescuer we are building but I think there’s more RC in my future so having the 30 model memory will come in handy!
Thank you for watching and your message. The RadioLink system is very advanced and good value for money. I look forward to seeing your master piece in operation. Keep us up to date with you progress 😎😉
RED! YES! You know what colour you needed to paint those! lol - I'd have gone red too!! Nice job John. That is seriously an AMAZING amount of screws you need for this step. If you think the Hornet wheels have a lot of tiny screws...think again! lol - awesome job John...love the look!
ahhhh, you left me hanging on the bead lock rings... LOL! I am glad they gave you some soft tires to use, their other trail truck tires are usually hard as a rock!
