That really is quite the design! So many moving parts but I’d say this would be an incredibly fun build as it is so different. Love it! Can’t wait to see it run.

I must say John, that is a very unique and interesting cantilever suspension set up. I love it though! I like how much of this model utilizes nuts to capture the screws. I don’t see that too often in the “budget ready to run” world. 😎 This one is definitely going to be on my “Tamiya’s to get “ wish list! I think it’s so cool! Keep up the great work my friend! Kind regards to you and your family my friend! 👋🏻😎👊🏼

Hi Robby, thank you for watching, I always love to read your responses. Oh yes,this Tamiya is different for sure from the rest of the Tamiya chassis line up and I am confident that you would love the build experience, if you’re up for a Tamiya, I would recommend it. The RockSocker body is really nice too, I’ve managed to mask and paint the roll bars and rear deck, as opposed to using the decals, just wasn’t confident in the roll bars being in the stickers and stay on, used all other decals though, the truck looks mean! Gone with a slightly louder colour to enhance that ‘I’m a monster truck’ get out of my way ! Thingy 😂🤣😂 anyway, hope you like it. Best wishes to you and the family, keep well. 😎😉😎

Hi John... Great tip with the 4-way wrench (spanner).. I have a few that pass through, and your right, it really does help with those longer bits... I knocked a few pass through openings after seeing my old HPI (2001) wrench was open... Chassis is looking great, I see the rocker system more pulls on the shock shaft rather than push it in... How much travel does that give you??
@JF-RC
@JF-RC 4 месяца назад
Hey Bob, thank you for watching and leaving me a great question. I had to measure it again, because I forgotten 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣🤦🏻‍♂️the damper travels approximately 20mm, I have approximately 5-10mm droop, the cantilever system helps the overall wheel lift to between 80 - 100mm, without the other wheels lifting. I probably won’t use that type of travel too much, as I really bought it because as a truck, it just looks so so mean! And that 4WS system, just fascinating to watch it working. The wrench idea, it just came to me, I don’t have any that pass all the way through, so I decided that with all the wrench that I’ve collected, I’ll have a go at popping it through, and it worked a treat 👍😉👍best wishes to you and the family, hope you’re all keeping well 😉😎😉
