Hi Mark, that you for watching and leaving me a wonderful comment. This is such a different Tamiya for sure. Not the same usual Tamiya way, definitely a different design engineering team for this model. Thank you so much about giving clear instructions, it’s nice to know that I’m clear enough for others to understand and see what I’m trying to achieve, especially from a seasoned RC expert, like yourself😎 best wishes to you and the family 👍😉😊

Hello John, another outstanding build series they are truly beefy axels, the suspension mount are really thick guess the Rocker Socker has a little bit of weight to it. I really is a joy to watch and listen to you while you do these build series. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.

It's amazing how involved these steps can get. So many screws and parts required. I think if we put the CC-02 axles I built awhile back along side those I think the size difference will be quite noticeable.

Good day John and good video John! I see that this is the axle mounted suspension mount, but is this the mount for the separate spring or the actual shock absorber? It’s a different deign than the typical designs with a spring over the shock. Either way, I’m excited to see how well it works. What’s your take on the suspension setup? Just curious. It’s definitely a kit I want to build at some point though. When I do I’ll have to resort to your tutorial to make things easier for the build. So , thank you in advance for the spectacular tutorial brother!🤗 I hope you have a wonderful weekend and God bless!👊🏼😎

Hi Robby, thank you for watching and leaving me a very fantastic comment. The mounting is for the springs, as the shock section is separate and at an angle. Such a different design philosophy. The suspension system is super smooth and really works well. I’m sure too, that a man of your intellect will love to get absorbed into build the CR-01 chassis. So please, if you do get an opportunity to grab one, you’ll not be disappointed. Take care Best wishes to you and the family. 😎😉😊

Looks good, Don't want to sound like a ass but if that's blue threadlock you should never use it near or on screws that are in plastic if any gets on the plastic it makes it all crack from being exposed to the blue threadlock, you need to use plastic safe threadlock. I use a small dab of CA glue on the back of the nuts so when they bottom out to the plastic it will hold them to it and not let them come loose unless you unscrew them. Just letting you know I heard many horror stories from people who used normal blue threadlock and there RC's ended up cracking apart all around the screws they used it on and the whole rc got ruined.
