Sorry for taking a bit too long for this video upload as i have to attend to several dental & health concerns plus Ive been busy taking on another hobby, the Culinary Arts. This is my Episode 3 for the RESURRECT BUILDS Series aka Hand me Down Kits. I spiced up the old kit a bit by adding a few details for visual interest. The story line of this Diorama is that a particular Panzer Grenadier Lehr Division Troops (Squad) had Engine and Tracks trouble during their Summer Offensive in France 1944 and got stuck on a bridge. With their Commanding Officer unperturbed by the current situation he commanded to press on by saying "Let's Go walk." Lass uns Gehen!

15:00 He started to say tissue paper then said toilet paper. It is TISSUE paper you want, as in the boxes of tissues that you blow your nose with. Toilet paper is designed to fall apart immediately once it gets wet. I love that more and more modelers are taking on these older kits and making diamonds from them. The rivet counting disease and having to have the very latest, most accurate kits for every single build can really take the fun out of the hobby.

You've done it again, ITT....taken a hand-me-down model, resurrected it, added extras from saved items and figures, produced an amazing diorama then put all these together to create a scene from a bygone time. Inspirational and sensational.....your work is art!

Always a big fan of your works, Sir Naro. I have gone from 0 to 4 dioramas/vignettes(1 WIP) in 6 months taking a lot of inspiration and techniques from modeler's creations such as yours. Cheers! :D

The person that gave you that model would never recognize it now - great job! Love the layout and all the detail you added to the model and throughout the scene. One oversight though, German vehicles used a wire mesh to secure foliage to the exterior, yours is just hanging there. Looks amazing though, came together beautifully! 👍

Hello Jerry. Oh my, it's an honest mistake. Glad you pointed that out. Had difficulty looking for a chicken wire type mesh or screen that holds the foliage in the 35th scale. But upon asking around my fellow chaps in the hobby, there is an alternative material. I will make sure to include the wire mesh in my upcoming Panther G Tamiya Restoration. While i reside in the South East Asian Region i can recommend to you trying Hobby Easy in Hong Kong, Hannants in the UK or perhaps Hobby Link Japan for Dragon Figures.
