Awesome! I wouldn’t worry about the body. Just get another one for display. And use the stock one for bashing. You can always find parts for a Clod. As for the 3s, to me, that is to fast.🤣. I normally go for a 2s. For me, it’s a perfect speed and not to fast to where you ended up breaking things. My other clod I was running dual HPI 15t fire bolt motors and a 2s and it was to ridiculously fast. I ended up putting the original 540 cans back.🤣. It’s cool that you used the super clod decals. I ended up painting it red as the 80’s clod and ordered the 80’s decals from MCI racing for that vintage look. Have fun!
Does the 3S fit in the OEM battery compartment? I'm running NiMH in all my rigs, so no experience with LiPo's. Modded my Clod's battery compartment to take a 7 cell; running original Tamiya dual motor ESC with the optional fan kit and twin torque-tuned Tamiya motors. Ran an eBay dual motor ESC for a while. It seemed to be quicker but didn't have brakes and was non-programmable.
