Excellent build reminds me of when I was a teen working at a hobby shop Christmas time did nothing but build kits. Is it a plus that tamiya is know using Allen head screw instead of the Phillips ?
Yerhhh I agree. Hex screws are so easy to work with. I thought the other day, what if Tamiya brought out new kits using old names. Like a modern chassis Thunder Dragon etc, with Modern body shells. How do you think people would feel about that?
@@FullOnRC hmmm I’m Thinking non box , as for hop ups the only one so far is the Diff nut kit as my TD4 has all of the hop ups. I will be testing out a Tamiya Brushless motor I think. Nothing too crazy power wise.
Hi Paul, and a great build video of the TD2 Astute. I like your colour scheme and I’m looking forward to seeing how the Astute,L Ives upto that Tamiya reputation. Take care and best wishes 😊😊😉🇬🇧
@@FullOnRC thanks, just started building one and only able to do a bit in my spare time. I don't have a LPS so I've just purchased one Yours was the only video that I realised about not using a standard servo👍 Cheers
@@paulfam1932 n.p the servo I used although not the cheapest servo out there. They are pretty cheap for a LPS. I use them in all my Tamiya. Pretty quick too and have had no issues fitting in all my Tamiya RC's. Enjoy yours.
