Great video! These are literally the first two Tamiyas I built. I just ordered the Toyota TS050 built on the F103GT direct drive chassis. I have really enjoyed building the different cars.
@@PopalongRC it looks good. I dunno y'alls interests or what channels you watch, but, scale builders guild and hemistorm are both real good at painting and whatnot 🤘🍻🤘
Just a question: is the TT01E capable of drifting? A friend of mine is going to hand ne down his TT01E and i'm a newbie so i'n trying to get as much information as i can before he actually hands it over. 😁
Love that GT! Is there a cap on how many upgrades you can have on these chassis in your league? Also do you run 17.5 t or 21.5 t motors? Are some of you running the stock sport tuned and torque tuned motors? I am trying to set up a league here in Canada sorry for the questions.
i have got both of these chassis now and i run my tt02 rally tuned on a 3s brushless system!! i don't know how the plastic diffs hold up but their stronger then the metal ones on my traxxas 1/16 slash!!🤣
I am new to the hobby and subbed after watching this video! Great info all around your channel. I started with TT02 and currently running stock. Can a stock TT02 (bearings not included) be competitive against modded ones on carpet or parking lot races?
It all depends on the drivers In this video a straight out the box tt02 did ok against seasoned TT01e’s Stock TT02 on track is impressive ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RLpltWudJj4.html Recently I went up against a TT02sr with addition hop ups and the car was amazing around the track definitely faster than my iconic spec tt01, I was still able to win due to driver consistency..
@@PopalongRC good to know! Driving skills are essential for sure! I hope you can make more videos about driving skills - building endurance during races - mental strength (how not to get distracted) and how to race with faster drivers.
