KC High showcases its affinity to Tamil language and culture in its curtain raiser 25th anniversary event. The school hosted an interschool Tamil Pattimandram on the 10th October 2023, the first in its Tamil Patru series for the Silver Jubilee Celebration. It was presided over by Mr. "Pattimandram" Raja, the renowned and humoristic Pattimandram speaker. Mr. R.J.Balaji, a popular Tamil Radio Jockey, also graced the occasion. About 14 schools participated in this competition and after preliminary rounds 8 speakers qualified through to speak in the presence of Honorable Chief Guest, Mr. Raja and an enthusiastic audience. The topic of debate being: "இன்றைய சூழலில் நமது வளர்ச்சிக்கு மிகவும் உதவுவது மனித நுண்ணறிவா அல்லது செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவா?"
The 8 young speakers from various schools enthralled the audience and the judge with their thoughts, diction, and fluency. The event started off with Tamizh Thaai Vaazhthu before mesmerizing the audience further in traditional, energetic Tamil dance performances by our students. The audience were drawn deeper into the beauty of Tamil language by Mr Raja's eloquence and sense of humor. A few student speakers got special mentions during the pattimandram.
