Get Bruce Arians the QB whisperer back as OC. He is better than any candidates out there. In house hire. He drafted the kid. Just get him a lefttackle and leftguard and retain Mason Jensen Stiene and Wirfs as well as get depth. A top O line can make a young inexperienced QB look amazing. Nothing else matters. Worry about defense and skill talent in 2024
I was listening to Rick Stroud's podcast today and he was talking about watching Trask missing routine throws regularly during practice. That plus the fact that he wasn't able to get past Gabbert on the depth chart and I don't hold out much hope this guy is going to amount to anything. I hope you are right and can see something in this kid everyone else is missing.
I liked the pick when they drafted him and he should be given a chance with the starters but he shouldn't just be given job,,they have to get a vet qb and maby draft one at some point in the draft.
He should be ready he's been there long enough. Scouting reports when he came out of Florida stated his arm wasn't that strong but was an accurate passer. I mean I think it's a no brainer he should at least be given a fair chance to win the job.
Give the man a shot. He's better than we think I think lol. Start him and give him 4 or 5 games. We are paying for the Super Bowl win this year. Give Trask the keys, cut the fat, keep only 3 stars or above. Drop Fournette. Use that 1st round pick on EDGE BEST AVAILABILE
I would love to see Trask get a fair chance on the field to lead the BUCS he don't have no on the field time bec of Brady I feel like a full season will she he will be a good QB for the future just how good can he get but we should draft another QB so theses next 2years don't work we have someone ready to take over again
I hope they give him a shot. True BUCS Fans will understand if he starts and have a losing record. But you have to fail to learn and learn to not fail again!!!!
Let's face it he's been on roster two years and couldn't beat out Gabbert for qb2. Clyde C he called him a "deliberate learner" which is a nice way to say he's a slow learner and not developing as fast As hoped. Let's bring in a vet qb on a bargain and let them compete.
Look I feel Kyle could progress n become a decent qb but I still 100% agree with you. I’ve been saying this for months to people that if Trask was “good” he would’ve been beat Gabbert in practice n move up his spot
NFL teams are loathe to discuss any perceived weakness, especially personnel. Trask will quickly slot into the number two QB if a veteran QB from another NFL team can be hired.
Let's assume you're right in saying that. They are way over the cap and will likely lose some players regardless so if Trask does end up not performing well then Tampa ends up with a better draft pick for 2024 and hopefully more cap space to work with.
They say they like Kyle Trask alot but yet constantly begged Brady to returned when he was past his prime survey says that bull$#!+ they don't like him for that reason and also another of they lived him they would've put him as the #2 quarterback behind Brady instead of Blaine Gabbert.
Put Brock Purdy film on in preseason. He looked like hot garbage with 3rd string. Yet 6-0 in regular season and 2-1 in playoffs but eagles game he got hurt. Doesn't count. Brock Purdy is just ok. And he put up better numbers the Jimmy G before he was hurt, with the same offense. Trask is a better qb than Brock Purdy. Trask is a gamer. Keep building talent around him and Trask will be better than Carr and Cousins. And as long as he wins football games, that's all they need. And I'd say bring in a Mayfield, Minshew or a Brissett (all the cheapest options) to have a real open competition with Trask in camp. Can't afford Carr or Rodgers or Jimmy G. Not worth mentioning them. 55 million over the cap. Sucks Brady costing them 35mil of it. And if this guy actually had the huge hand in turning Geno Smith's career around. He'd do wonders with the quarterbacks I mentioned above. Because Geno Smith was hot garbage before this season in Seattle. Sorry, my fault, that's an insult to garbage.
