Falcons played like they were going to the playoffs if they won.

Desmond Ridder really showcased quite a bit in this Falcons victory. The passes Ridder launched were a success, Drake London has had oustanding numbers in catches throughout a regular season, and Pruitt has been super reliable at tight end. Real happy they could beat the Buccaneers. No one thought Tampa would fall short but to finish this game as the winning team Atlanta has to be thrilled. They brought excitement to their fans and the presence from the pocket really set the tone for Ridder at quarterback. Proud of Allegier also for running ball extremely well. Falcons have good running backs so it was no surprise to me that they played this good in total yards rushing. Supreme win and fans for Falcons should be proud for whats next to come. Dean Pees leaving franchise sucks but Arthur Smith will soon figure out a way where this football team can win some NFC South Titles hopefully in the near future. With this sensational talent Falcons have they can soon be a future playoff squad. Grady Jarrett great year for you also. One of the most important leaders contributing for this Atlanta defense.

I've been paying close attention to ridder since the senior bowl. He's going to be a good starting qb. He has two big and fast options with his #1 wr and tight end, a nice strong rookie running back and a young oline.

As an Atlanta resident I have to say the Falcons were VERY impressive today , for a change .

Ridder showed a very solid performance today, got his first two passing touchdowns and had great poise in the pocket, as well as quite a few great scramble plays. London did some epic grabs, as per usual. Allgeier is a beast of an RB as per usual as well. If Ridder can get more throwing options and better offensive tackles that don't immediately fail, I can see the Falcons offense taking a notable step forward next year. (They also need some better pieces on defense as well). Good job with the win Falcons. Things are looking positive for next year.

The more I see of Algeier the more impressed I am. Bro is a beast. It so weird seeing ATL with a good run game but I'm glad for it

As a falcons fan this was absolutely amazing to watch. Great job by everybody and we close out the season with 2 straight wins. We have now beaten brady for the first time and gave him his first losing season. Ridder will forever be an ATL legend for that. Ridder was amazing if he can do this in the future he can definitely be a starter here for years to come, allgeier was a monster congrats on 1000 yards. Drake London was also incredible. Defense was also amazing holding tampa to 0 2nd half points. Overall not a bad season for ATL i am confident that next season we will be a playoff squad. Just watch. Bucs offense looked good for the short time Brady and the rest of the starters were in, will be interesting to see how the cowboys playoff game shapes out, seeing a losing Brady led team in the playoffs will be a show to watch.

If only there was some magical way we could have ended up in the playoffs with the way Ridder is progressing we could have possibly had a shot if he was put in earlier in the season.. would have been nice for him to get that experience but I'm really liking what I'm seeing with him as QB. Can't wait to see him next year after the work he puts in and see how much he progresses!

Tom Brady is the GOAT. Even with a losing record still makes it to the Playoffs. Only time he missed the Playoffs was 02 and that year he lead the league in TD passes.

I’m so happy as a Falcons fan they managed to finish the year with 2 wins. Desmond Ridder is showing nice improvement, Tyler Allegier having a breakout season, and London finally having a 100 yard game. Anyways I’m glad we beat Brady, but best of luck to the Bucs in the playoffs. Us rivals may fight and disagree but I’ll always cheer a NFC South brother in the playoffs

I know the Bucs are playing backups but the falcons are showing promise with their young roster going into next season.

Falcons are showing some bright spots, still need to work on the OL though. Their best players are ageing, I can see continuing future issues. Nedd some more speed in the DL. Stll too many sacks happening through the OL. But they did do better than I expected, I had them to win 5 games.

What could have been....week 1 mariota fumble with under a minute to go, the under throw in the endzone interception to lose by 4 to the rams, the running into the kicker that cost em, the BS roughing the passer on brady, the refumble back to the chargers in the final minutes, the mariota interception at the opponents 4 yard line, the 2nd saints blunder. Let's hope they address the defense big time this offseason. 🙏🏻!!!!!

Don’t understand the hate for Ridder he’s calm in the pocket, can extend plays, has a decent arm and is a good decision maker. With the receiving talent he has around him and the run game he should be good.

I think Ridder's performance gave the Falcons some hope going into next season. The QB position looks like it has talent and with that running game, the offense could be vastly improved next year.

I really thought the falcons were a 9 win team this year with Mariota and more importantly Arthur Smith not making bad decisions. I still think this team should have won 9 with better coaching decisions. I can't see them getting more than 9 wins with Smith as coach after this year and last years decision making.

The Falcons did the right thing with Ridder, every rookie qb shouldn't start week 1 unless they absolutely have to, it was a good call going with Mariota for most if the season while Ridder learned, he looked good in the few games he started, it'd be crazy if he ended up like Hurts who also started a few games at the end of his rookie the year, now after year 3 Hurts is a strong MVP Candidate, the future looks bright for Ridder
