Purdy's pocket presence and scrambling/throwing on the run is tip top. For a rook with basically no experience it's very encouraging. Dude stood in there and took big hits to drop accurate passes down field. Kyle needs to build on that.

That Purdy TD run was so clean they decided to play it twice 😂

Brock was our high-school quarterback, played baseball with him there too. Dude is incredibly talented but was never Vicky about it. Love to see his success and couldn't have happened to a nicer guy

McCaffrey is such a weapon. What a beast of a player.

All season I didn't care about San Francisco, but after seeing Purdy's performance and the fact that he's Mr. Irrelevant, I'm pulling for this young man.

Watching his dad crying in the stands was awsome!..he raised a good kid.

Not even a 49ers fan, but I could watch that 49ers defense every week. Might be the best defense we have seen in the past 5 years.

Purdy scramble for the TD so impressive the NFL had to include it twice on the highlights.

I was there that day, never imagine the last pick rookie dominate the GOAT. And just 1year pass from his debut day, he become mvp front runner.

I hope we can keep Purdy from going down like our other QB’s. What an incredible story the 49ers have going this season. Just wow.

Imagine not only beating Tom Brady in your first career start, but scoring so many points and playing so well they put the back up in at the end of the game. Edit: I know Shanahan said after the game that Purdy injured his oblique early in the game but he also said that was not the reason they pulled him, they pulled him cause of the blowout.

Purdy was fantastic. Hoping for a quick recovery for Deebo. Go niners, from Australia.

As a 49er fan, I'm shocked to see the team destroy Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. The 49ers deserved that win. What a game.

McCaffrey is a beast. It's soo good to see him land somewhere where he has a chance at greatness.

The td run by Purdy for the second score of this game is a revelation on several different levels into the makeup of this young man. Immediately after the snap, he's in shotgun position so he is in great position and sees everyone progressioning into their individual routes. The defense is also making great progress towards him faster than his guys can get into their spots. What does he do? He doesn't panick, he doesn't try to force it in there (like someone we know 😆 and get easily picked). He quickly takes it upon himself and scrambles towards the end zone with greatfootwork. He also has the awareness to extend the ball into the end zone way before he himself enters it to ensure a td before anyone from the defense has an opportunity to take him down. Folks, this is maturity beyond our expectations. He is poised beyond his years, his confidence in himself is undaunting, his high awareness of the situation at hand is phenomenal, his built-in and automatic reactions to the situations he's thrown into is so advanced that I'm speechless. I can only say that his experiences as a 4 years starter in college has been, and is currently now priceless for him and us as fans of the 49ers organization. What a fortune we have in drafting this gem as our last pick and the final draft pick for the 2022 draft class. Gooooooo 9ers!!!

Purdy played really well. Good for him. He handled the pressure and beat Brady. Awesome. Keep it going all the way to the end.

Still in disbelief this was Brock Purdy's first NFL game

This kid Purdy is cool, he plays like he’s been there before, has great movement doesn’t panic, he’s collected and calm, this guy has touch on his passes, the 49ers we’re sitting on gold with this guy (no pun intended). They can make a playoff run still with this kid

I was there and it was unbelievable to witness. Had to watch the highlights! The kid is as good in person as he is on film. Wow man, this season is nuts. Go Niners!

Purdy’s poise, mobility & confidence was exceptional. And to think, with more experience, he can only get better from here…

Purdy is a straight up baller! You can just see he is playing faster than the defense.

This niners team is so awesome. Purdy looks so composed for his age. You can really tell this whole niners team has rallied around us. At our best I honestly believe we have the best offense and defense on the NFL.

Watching CMC as a piece of an offense instead of being a teams only offense has been really nice to watch and those 10+ less touches a game should hopefully keep him healthy.

Great job by a rookie quarterback, and what a pick-up McCaffrey is for the 49ers. The team looked really impressive in this game, lets see if they can keep it up.

Everybody talks about when Brady will pass the torch to Mahomes. I think someday people will come back to this game and this was when the torch was really passed and nobody knew it at the time.

The TD pass downfield to CMC was amazing if you add in the hit he took, this kid is our future.

You just know a quality QB when you see one. This guy has it.

If you look at week 13 vs the Dolphins when he subd Jimmy G, the playbook that week were made for Jimmy G. Hence why the play calling was so different this week 14 vs the Buccaneers

It has been two games which is always a must mention, but Purdy looks so willing to do the things Jimmy won't. Pushing the ball outside the numbers when its open (even though he doesn't necessarily have the arm for it), taking that extra second and not just blindly ripping the ball into the middle of the field, and so far he's shown a solid pocket presence to move the pocket and make those out of structure plays. Hope he keeps it up would be a cool story. Besides we all know how the Jimmy G experience ends with this team.

Dre Greenlaw the most underrated LB right now. He’s playing out of his mind this season.. dude really improved last off season you can see it ..

All else aside, this 49ers team is just fun to watch. Their scheming is so creative. Their execution is on point. They have it clicking in all four phases. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Super Bowl LIV rematch this year.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this one of the best offensive performances the 49ers put up all year? Purdy does things that Jimmy didn't. The pocket presence, mobility, back shoulder throws, killer instinct for the TD before half. This kid is special.

Purdy reminds me a lot of Kurt Warner. Way to go, kid!! Hope he can maintain it all the way to SB!!! Let's go 49ers!

I was there. Realized something was something beyond special happening when I saw this kid to throw that dagger to Aiyuk. Faithful were chanting his name for the first many times after that.

Buc's defense gave Brady so many chances to come back, but he kept squandering the opportunities. Brady's inability to scramble is really hurting the Bucs. Also, Purdy took some BIG hits. You just know those would have been roughing the passer penalties had it been Brady on the receiving end.

PURDY run-in he was so good, they had to show it 2x 😄😂

Went to high school with Purdy, crazy to see how far he’s made it!

Purdy made that pretty walk in TD like a walk in the park. Sure made his Dad proud.

I hope this was the proverbial passing of the torch. One can only hope we have a QB half as great as Tom Brady. I just hope when it's all said and done that Purdy has built his a legendary story to his own liking.

Even with losing Jimmy G. and now Deebo S., 49er's coaching has done a great job at seamlessly readjusting . . . during the game and not having to wait until the next game. A testament to head-coach, Shanahan. Plus, players are all on the same game-plan page, reminiscent of the Walsh and Seifert eras.

That third td pass was incredible. Niners options game spreads the entire field wide open. The D was suffocating as usual. This Niners team is completely different than all others I can remember since maybe Steve Young. Mccaffrey lit the flame. Guys started to return. The fire getting bigger by the week.
